Wear pants, mummy

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 30, 2008

Previously, Elizabeth will take out all the stuffs in daddy’s and mummy’s wardrobe. For example, mummies panties, daddy’s ties, mummy’s shirts or shorts and daddy’s socks or gold cufflinks.

However, today this little one has surprise mummy again. This evening, she manage to open the middle door of my wardrobe. I actually placed most of her beautiful outfits in there. It’s all the clothes she wear when she goes out.

She walked to the wardrobe immediately after I took out her panty once she “p”. I am curious. Thus, I just watched her. Then, she open the door and mess up her clothes. OMG! Stop it!

Anyway, she quickly grab one of her pants and gave it to me before I hold her up. Then, she started to “wahuwahmaba”. What are trying to tell me, girl? Oh! So sorry, dear! I understand now. You are looking for your pants and you want mummy to wear it for you now, right?

Mummy is so proud of you. My little Elizabeth has learn that she must wear pants. And, she even knows which pants and where to find them. Bravo, Lizzy! 😛

Her new dresses

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 30, 2008

Little Lizzy, your are going to celebrate the 2nd CNY after your birth. And, mummy is so excited as you learn to appreciate beautiful clothes these days. And, like varieties of food too. Thus, mummy hope you can enjoy this CNY to the fullest.

Mummy started to buy new clothes for you about 3 months before CNY. By now, I think it’s time to stop buying. Mummy already collected 8 new dresses for you. At the same time, you still have quite a number of new pants and shirts for CNY. So… enough, ok? 😉

This is my favorite! It’s from the shop ” Flower Girl” in Penang Queensbay Mall. Simple and nice. Also because it looks almost the same as one of my toddler’s dress. 😛

Cute aye? Both are like “can can” dress. The white one with only tiny flowers at the top is from Poney.

Mummy will let Elizabeth wear the yellow one for the first day of CNY. Her smile can even appear to be sweeter once she’s wearing the bright and cheerful yellow. 😛

I bought the one which is full of tiny pink roses from a shop called “Studio Seven”. It has all kinds of English kids wear for little girls. Others are all from Penang GAMA Supermarket which I bought during special sales day. But, I can’t recall their brand names at all.

So, there are 7 here. And, here’s the last piece.

I prefer to shop for her all year long clothings during CNY season. As this is the time all the shops will get in beautiful kids wear for sale. There are more varieties as most parents will spent more on kids wear during New Year.

“kakak”

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 29, 2008

Elizabeth “p” on the floor this evening. It’s usual to see this situation as mummy had stop using nappy. So, most of the time little Lizzy is only wearing panty. Somehow, mummy were so shock to hear Elizabeth shouting for “ka”, “kaka”, “kaka” after she had “p”.

She just stand still and keep shouting for “kaka” after she “she she”. It’s cute. And, at this point, does it means she already reach an understanding that my maid is working for us? Or she is being closer to my maid recently? As she don’t ask for our help, but hers! 😯

Somehow, I can confirmed that she knows how to call “Kakak”. That’s a good news. And, she has learn to ask for help as she gets wet. Hopefully soon she will inform us before she wants to “she she”. 😉

I’ll be even happier if she is willing to sit down on the potty when she wants to “poop”.

“Elizabeth, please get rid of your bad habit as soon as possible! No one will stand when they want to “poop”!”

“So weird! Just “poop” into the potty, will you?” That would save mummy from spending on toilet rolls or disposable gloves that use to pick up her smelly “poop”.

In fact, she used to poop or “p” into the potty. I really had no idea since when she changed her mind! Naughty girl!

Little English Dress

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 29, 2008

Mummy just came back from night market. Obviously, this small pink dress is from “pasar malam”. Little Elizabeth seems so happy to see it. Frankly, this little girl loves dresses. So ladies, aye? At the moment, she still can’t be considered “graceful”. Who knows may be one day she will. hehe…

Of course, this will be kept for CNY. This dress fits her nicely. Most importantly, it’s very cheap. Last week, Mummy bought the other English cotton dress for her. And, it costs RM 80 ( around USD 26). However, this one with almost the same material ( in fact, I prefer this material more as it’s slightly thinner. Just nice for our super hot weather) only cost mummy RM33 (USD 10). What a big difference, isn’t it?

That’s the reason why mummy likes to shop in night market. There is always cheap and good stuffs. 😛

Elizabeth needs walking stick

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 29, 2008

“Elizabeth, be careful with the stick! Can’t you give it back to great granny?”

This is the stick that my grandma used to scratch her back. It’s not what we took out from Ogio golf bag. Somehow, Elizabeth knows exactly where she keeps it. Thus, Little Lizzy always steal it. She loves to walk around using this stick.

This is to act like her great granny who walks with her walking stick all the time. Not because she wants to learn how to play golf at this young age. Ha!

See… toddlers really like to imitate adults. 😆

Her lips bleed

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 29, 2008

LOL! My girl just fell down from the one step stair. It’s the first time she fell from the stair since she knows how to walk. This time she accidentally bit her own lips. Thus, it’s so hurt for mummy to see her bleeding! 😥

Just because mummy needs some “me” time for blogging or other activities, everyday there will be time when baby Elizabeth is took care by the Indonesian maid. I think my maid is good enough. It’s just that she can be careless sometimes. And, I always keep complaining about one bad habit about her. She likes to do some other works or even walk away for something else at the same time when she was asked to take care of Elizabeth. I hate that cause that’s normally why accidents can happen.

Anyway, daddy is not around. So daddy, if you sees this… Please don’t worry. Elizabeth stop crying quite soon. And, she is sleeping soundly now. Next time be careful with the stairs ya, my dear… 😛

This is ridiculous

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 25, 2008

Most of the time I try not to be over protective. But, our baby does need our close protection sometimes. There are many ways we can protect our baby. For example, Daddy buy insurance for her future education. And, some parents will have mortgage life insurance to protect their kids future living even if they are not around.

Besides, I am concern about her daily activities that need close supervision. Lizzy, can you please stop running around mummy’s bed? It’s dangerous!

Her new “Tomato Head”

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 25, 2008

Elizabeth, do you know that you are a typical soft toys princess since 8 to 9 months old? Make sure you don’t fall in love with guys just because of a few soft toys, ok? LOL!  I think it’s a bit too early to discuss this topic with you. Silly mummy! 😛

Actually there was funny scene that really amuse mummy and daddy in Wednesday. It’s a public holiday because of “Thaipusum”. So, daddy and mummy bring you out to “Kai Kai”.  Mummy certainly knows you like soft toys. Thus, we walk into a soft toys shop together.

I guess there is something mummy just realized at that time. Elizabeth has grown up and become smarter. You are so excited to see all the soft toys. You want to grab them all. So mummy and daddy quickly take you out from the shop. But, you have struggled hard and insisted to go back into it. In and out trice.

Finally, mummy gave in. I let you choose among 2 soft toys. One square and one round. You quickly grab the round cuttie and run out from the shop immediately. 😯 OMG! I can’t believe my eyes. That’s embarrassing. Baby, do you know that this act can be considered steeling? LOL!

At last, mummy quickly grab you and take you to the counter. End up, Daddy paid for another soft toys again.

Anyway, mummy and daddy have fun though. You are so cute! Unbelievable! 😛

I wondered how many soft toys will you have until you are 5?

Pajamas for CNY

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 25, 2008

Chinese New Year is around the corner. So, it’s time to “show off” Lizzy’s New clothes for CNY now! In fact, I have bought many new clothes for her. But, the old ones in the house told me that most important children should wear new pajamas for the might before new year and the night we pray to “Tian Gong”.

So, I quickly spare a few pieces of new pajamas for her.

Not because of the old believe. But, it’s a great excuse for me to shop for my little princess. 😆 I really loves to shop for her clothes. LOL!

Anyway, as you can see mummy likes yellow and orange so much! I find it looks more cheerful if kids put on clothings with these colors. Of course, it’s more suitable for CNY too. “Wong” (prosperity) mah! hehe…

And, baby always wear decent pajamas cause kids are meant to be decent. So girl, if you prefer bustiers, you can get it for yourself when you earn your money. Not from mummy! 😛

I drive

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 25, 2008

Look how far she has enjoyed herself while waiting to see her paed! It seems like she is interested in driving now. Daddy, do you think we should get a car for her? 😛

I am afraid that even I get one for her, she will get bored within days. So may be we shouldn’t buy fore her. And, it’s the best idea to let her look forward to this little “toy car” in the hospital, so that she will be happy to see the paed. Ha!

Yesterday I took Elizabeth to her paediatrician for injection. I have forgotten weather this time it’s polio or chicken pox. I guess kids nowadays just can’t get rid of all these injections. Little Elizabeth has injection almost every month since born and it will only slow down after she turn 2 I guess.

I am concern as these days she starts to cry every time she sees her paed. Poor girl! Luckily she will stop crying once the injection done. In fact, I am lucky to have this little one who seems don’t cry terribly most of the time. Tough girl! 😛

Biscuits is better than bread

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 24, 2008

Little Elizabeth likes bread and biscuits so much. Thus, I’ve bought many types of mini biscuits for her before I go to Hong Kong. Just to make sure she still have something go into her stomach when she is hungry or while her mouth needs something to bite. haha…

However, I find that she won’t stay on with one type of biscuits for long. She likes to try something new. OMG! Like mother like daughter. Mummy is quite like a “dustbin”, anything can go in as long as it’s not the same all the time. LOL!

In fact, I think she is in the growing stage where she gets curious with all new things now. She learn to make her own choice. That’s obvious since she turned one. But, giving her breads is certainly better than biscuits. I said so as I certainly need vacuum cleaners almost everyday to keep my carpets clean if she is holding a piece of biscuit every now and then.

Please don’t touch!

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 24, 2008

Daddy likes to bring baby Elizabeth to the garden. Of course it’s because little Lizzy likes it. Somehow curious Lizzy is not only looking for ants and snails in the garden. She will pick up almost everything on the floor to have a closer look or feel and touch it.

So what’s on the floor of the garden. I think dried or rotted flowers and leaves are the 2 most common things on the floor. That’s her toys out there. But girl, “Make sure you don’t put it in your mouth and please let mummy wash your hands after you have fun with these stuffs, ok?”

Another problem will be the mosquitoes in the garden. Most of the time Elizabeth is protected with cream that will “shoo” the mosquitoes away. So, instead of attack little Lizzy, all the mosquitoes will come to mummy!

I watch TV everyday

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 23, 2008

This is the way I watch TV, this is the way I watch TV, This is the way I watch TV all through the day…… See, my little baby has grown up. She has been crazy over kids’ programs nowadays especially brainy baby and Barney.

“Like parents like daughter”, mummy and daddy like movies too. But, I really don’t like her to lay down while watching TV. Obviously, it will affects her eyes sight later on. Anyway, I still think watching educational videos is good for her. She learned a lot of things from them. How I wish there is mini home theater seating. So that I can get one for her. I guess this is the only way to stop her from lying down.

Anyway, It’s lovely to see her claps while lying down lazily. And, it’s especially amusing as she will shun a side to continue watching her show once we accidentally block her vision. 😛

It seems I have waste my money

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 23, 2008

Elizabeth likes to have playmates while she is bathing. Besides, she likes to rearrange all the standing small dolls on the rack. Thus, daddy get her “The Pooh and friends”.

Anyway, these 4 is yet to get into the tub with little Lizzy. But, I am going to do it this evening as I find that she don’t really like to play with them in the hall. 😆 So, I thought may be they can starts to become her best friends in the bath tub.:P

So, she gets only 4 simple rubber dolls and one Pooh light twister from Hong Kong Disneyland. Strange though! As I saw most of the kids in Disneyland are crazy over the light twisters. But, she don’t really like it either. It seems I have waste my money! LOL!

I am thinking can it be she already gets bored with “Pooh”? Then, what will she like after 1? Disney Princesses? *Scraching the head*.

No more rashes

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 22, 2008

I realized as the weather gets hotter, babies need to bath more often. For example, baby Elizabeth get lots of rashes as she caught flu. And, it’s not because of the flu. But, it’s all because normally when she caught flu, I will skip her bath. I will just clean or swap her body with wet cloth. Once I bathe her more after she had recovered, all the rashes are gone with the wind! 😛

In short, we must always bathe our baby to keep them clean all the time. In fact, I bathe my little one twice a day. The first time is about 10 to 11 am in the morning. The next one will be around 5pm in the evening. Yet, I will still swap her whole body before she puts on her pajamas at night.

Babies tends to sweat a lot. Bathing is to cool down their body and also to wash away the sticky sweats. Bare in mind the sticky sweats may cause rashes or other skin problems.

On the other hand, we must be careful with those body shop supplies. Certain body wash or soaps that are too acidic are not suitable for babies. Thus, I am still using organic soap free baby wash.

It’s fun and funny

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 22, 2008

Little Lizzy is getting naughtier now. But, I am glad that she enjoyed all her dances and tricks. On the other hand, me and hubby really had a great time almost everyday just by playing with her. Have a look at how naughty Elizabeth enjoyed hiding herself in this mosquito net…

But, you really did a great job, baby! You are the best rewards for our daily chores, especially for daddy. Daddy always look forward to play with you after his daily heavy workloads.

Anyway, I enjoy all her funny faces, dances, tricks and imitations so much. If you have a baby who is going to turn one, just be patient. You will have this wonderful moment sooner than you ever think. And, you will miss your baby like nothing else once he or she is out of your sight at this moment. :)

Lovely Bugs

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 22, 2008

I have bought a few “gold bug” pocket watches from Hong Kong as I like it so much. I think it’s striking and cute. I am thinking Elizabeth will like it too. And, it’s suitable for other kids as well.

Since young I like bugs so much. I called them “lady birds”. I wonder if my girl will like them too just like me? 😛

Anyway, hopefully she is satisfied with “this bug”. Just imagine if she ask for Chopard lady’s LADY BUG happy sport limited edition in the future, I guess I will ask her to buy herself. Or else she will have to go to her daddy. 😆

Somehow, nowadays most parents will try their best to provide the best to their kids if they can afford. Me and hubby have the same opinion too. But at the same time, we will discipline Elizabeth in terms of spending in the future. We don’t want her to be spoiled. At least she has to be smart enough to balance her spendings and earnings.

They are from Disneyland

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 22, 2008

I am kind of regret that I did not bring my girl along to Hong Kong Disneyland. I think it’s more for kids actually. Anyway, I have bought some toys and clothes from Disney for my girl. Since she likes Pooh, so I get her one “Pooh” and one “Ratatouille”. And, it’s all in yellow. Why? It’s because Elizabeth looks quite dark when she puts on anything pink. Also because she looks nice in yellow. 😛

Of course, mummy is search high and low for something white base. And, here you go…

What do you think about this, little Lizzy? It’s a sweet shirt, isn’t it? 😉

That’s all the shirts mummy bought from Disney. Now there is a problem. Only the white one can fit Elizabeth now. Those 2 yellow shirts will be left aside until she is much bigger. May be around 3? OMG! Mummy always buy something too big.

Mummy:”I thought as long as it’s not white, we can keep as long as we want, isn’t it?” Only white cloth can turn yellowish after we keep it for sometime without washing it. 😆

I am too fat

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 21, 2008

Now mummy thinks I am too fat. Mummy is busy finding out what’s wrong with my diet. Am I eating too much? Anyway, I don’t even start taking meat. I am only taking soup or porridge that cook with meat. So, may be it’s Bonmil.

Anyway, it’s a bit difficult for baby Elizabeth to slim down as she is just a toddler. If we adults gain weight, we may have many options to slim down including taking diet pills. However, it is not suitable for toddler. And, It ain’t easy to train her to exercise everyday either.

In fact, she walks in the house all the long. I think she is having adequate exercise. So, it’s pretty obvious that she has over ate. :(

Mummy is getting lazy…

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 21, 2008

In fact, I am back from Hong Kong 1 week ago. Anyway, poor girl! As this blog of hers is left untouched for more than 2 weeks. Frankly, mummy has no time to blog about Elizabeth for the past 1 week. As there are still many things from Hong Kong that mummy wants to post in her other blogs. So sorry, dear… Will you forgive me?

But from now onwards, I am going to blog about my little princess again. That’s what I promised.

First of all, I have left out her monthly development milestone for this month. And, my girl has grown up a lot. She is so cute now. Busy talking to everyone but unfortunately no one understand her. Anyway, mummy still manged to guess some of her languages.

She still loves balloon like nothing else. Last night, I brought her to Gurney Plaza again. And, she is busy looking for balloon once she saw other kids is holding balloons. I really wish I can took a few pics of the moment she saw the balloons. She is “jumping for joy”, mumbling and smiling with a chicky look. 😛

Of course if the balloon burst, she will be frighten. And, this time is no longer the helium balloon with thick plastic. This is just the ordinary one. Thus, I choose the smallest one for her. It’s safe as small balloon hardly burst even of she hit the balloon here and there when she is holding it! 😉

And, it’s a small red heart shape balloon. It’s sweet, isn’t it? Mummy love you, baby.

Blog Break

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 5, 2008

Mummy need a blog break because she is sick. Nope. For the last few days she did not update my blog. That’s because she was sick and tired. In fact, she has left out my development milestones too. I have so many tricks to show and had shown great “understanding” development!  However, she is going to update this blog frequently once she is back from Hong Kong. Yeah… now she is announcing the blog break simply because she is leaving for holidays. Not because she is sick.

And, poor Elizabeth is sure to miss mummy for this coming 7 days. I guess she will still enjoy the time spend with her grandma too.  Take care, darling! Mummy is going to miss you too. 😛

And, mummy promise to bring you together for holidays in a few years time, when you can eat and go to toilet on your own. 😉

I blow my whistle for 2008

Posted by Everyday Healy on January 2, 2008

It’s a brand new year now! Mummy must update this blog more often in 2008. In fact, mummy plan to update this blog daily starting form 1st January. However, mummy failed to do so as she was sick for the past 2 days. Even now, mummy is still having slight gastric. :(

Anyway, we should all cheer up for New Year! Just have a look at how my girl celebrated her New Year…

Instead of blowing whistle for this great celebration, she enjoyed biting the plastic spoon in her mouth. LOL! Just a little surprise for mum and dad, I guess! It seems like how people carrying the whistle, isn’t it? Cute and fun!Baby, you’ve just cheer mummy and daddy up! Good job! Thanks you, sweeitie… 😉

Mummy feels grateful to have Elizabeth with her for the whole 2007. May it be good or bad in the past, with Elizabeth around… the future will be always full of hopes and joy!

Wish everyone here have a pleasant memory in 2008. It’s for you and your family. Love forever! 😛
