Elizabeth really love to bathe. In fact, she likes to play with water. The jacuzzi or bath tub is her favorite. Most of the time she will ask mummy to fill the tub with water so that she can play in it.
Once mummy take off her clothes, she will bag me to quickly put her into the tub that fills with water. At the same time, mummy will throw in some bath toys. And, she will sit in the tub and play.
Anyway, it’s best that mummy go in together with Elizabeth. As she will stands up and starts walking too. I will watch her. Just to make sure she won’t slip. She will also hop into the tub even if it’s empty.
Somehow, the tub is high. And, she is trying to climb into it now if there is no one to help her. That’s very dangerous. In this case, I think walk in tub will be safer.
I think most kids like cartoon characters. So do Elizabeth. In fact, Elizabeth likes bath mates such as “Winnie the Pooh and friends”. May be it’s time to introduce her to some lovely new friends.
Elizabeth likes this short video. She will get close with all these friendly bath mates as soon as they arrived. As they arrived, it’s so easy for mummy to keep little Elizabeth clean too! Clean her hair, clean her body, clean her hands and her bottom! That’s really clean!
Mummy just can’t wait to see Elizabeth smiles, laughs, dances and gets wet together with them in the bathroom. There will be wonderful bath time for mummy, Elizabeth and the Huggies Cleanteam. I can see that they will come in handy and make the potty training process so much easier too. Ultimately, they are mummy’s best friends too!
Elizabeth enjoyed being pushed around in her new bicycle. However, she still can’t ride it on her own. Thus, it can be boring sometimes. But, she really can make her life so interesting most of the time!
It’s a bit boring. Boring! Boring! Boring!
Oh, this is challenging! Let’s try!
Oh! Look at my new trick. I made it! At least some fun!
Mummy and daddy really have a brave girl, don’t we? That’s very challenging for us too! LOL!
It’s weekend. But, little Elizabeth still got no chance to go out since yesterday. Mummy feels bad. But, yesterday mummy and daddy just can’t bring her together as we went to the hospital. Then, she was asleep while we were going out to dinner.
Daddy is busy today. He went for appointments. Since little Elizabeth enjoyed herself so much while hanging at the playground at Gurney Plaza, may be mummy should bring her to the playground later.
She really had so much fun at the playground before!
We will wait until daddy is free. Then, may be we can have better plans such as cruising along with one of the carnival cruises.
Elizabeth “pooh” so many times today. From hard to soft and smelly stools, a total of 3 times until now. It’s such a mess! Elizabeth might seems a learned baby these days. Somehow, she is still a toddler. A toddler that never “pooh” on the potty. She still “pooh” in her pants most of the time. :S
She knows that she supposed to “wee wee” in the toilet. Somehow, she just won’t hold mummy’s hand to the toilet whenever she wants to “wee wee”. On the other hand, if mummy bring her to the toilet on time, she will “wee wee”.
That’s actually great! I think as soon as she can speak in words, she will tell when she wants to answer these calls of nature. But, when are you going to be ready for the potty?
This little one was first running on the bed. As she grab mummy’s mobile phone, she stopped. In fact, I am sure you see her panting too. I guess it’s tiring for her after some running.
Anyway, It’s wonderful to video tape this scene. Something mummy and daddy should not miss out! She is so cute while imitating the adults at home talking on the phone. This little chicky is always full of physical action and facial expression. LOL!
However, I am sure it’s even more entertaining if I know what she is trying to tell. In fact, I just can’t wait to create closed captioning for all her words and share the joy with all of you.
I realized my girl had grown up a lot. Her long pants getting shorter. And, I still remember it’s quite hard to cut her nails before she turned 1. However, it’s so much easier now. I guess she started to understand that she might get hurt if she is moving while mummy was cutting her nails.
Her nails grow so fast. Mummy got to cut her nails every 2 to 3 days. And, the scissors type nail cuter is exceptional useful. Easy to use and safe too. This type of nail cuter is specially designed to avoid us from cutting the little ones finger.
I better be hard working. If I don’t cut her nails, the long nails will cut her skin as she scratches her backs or legs. She scratches almost her whole body. Damn good at scratching!
Anyway, granny is still the one who always remember to cut her nails. Careless mummy!
There were monkeys outside the house this morning. They were fooling on the big trees near my house. Elizabeth just woke up. But, she gets so excited to see them!
There is a “mini forest” near my house actually. Thus, there is always animals around, just like a mini zoo. That’s good! As animals are Elizabeth’s best friends.
Anyway, She really so excited! I know my girl is trying to catch the monkey. Actually, mummy should cut the tree trunks and grab the monkeys for Elizabeth! Anyone got festool? hahaha……
Since Elizabeth has recovered from her flu, mummy wondered are we going to shopping again this weekend? Even if it’s a window shop, my little shopping queen just won’t mind too!
Last Saturday, Elizabeth was enjoying herself at Gurney Plaza.
LOL! Are you stepping on someone’s eyes? Look down, girl! Didn’t you see that big eye? hahaha……
This is colorful. Lovely! “Mummy do you want to join me?” (Yeah… Thanks to MAC make up road show. This is one of the colorful bean bags placing on the floor of its booth.)
My girl is a shopping queen. She loves shopping. Almost every week she will at least get a chance to visit one of the shopping mall in Penang.
Mummy and daddy like to see my girl smile and laugh while hanging in the shopping mall. She became very excited and active as she entered the mall. May be there is always so many things to see and touch in the shopping mall.
After all, kids learn when they see something. Elizabeth got a chance to feel whatever she touch too! At least not as boring as reading ABC.
Mummy absolutely believe that toddlers can be very understanding and tough. Mummy realized that as Elizabeth grow older, she becomes more understanding. And, she is definitely a tough girl since baby.
She always fall, but never cry for long. She did not cry and still playing happily even she is sick today. She even greets mummy with smile. Such a good girl! Somehow, she is very active.
She is busy playing with toys, hoping, dancing, climbing and running again after she took her medicine. That’s why mummy become so slim. But, it seems that my maid still need weight loss pills. LOL!
Obviously, she is over active but not hyperactive. At least, she don’t look sick anymore. That’s consoling! Overall, Elizabeth is a wonderful baby girl! Such a precious God’s gift for the family.
Elizabeth is sleeping soundly now. As she is sick, it will be helpful if she sleep more. Bare in mind that sleep is always the best medicine for flu. As we sleep, our body get a chance to heal itself.
Besides, mummy is feeding Elizabeth with warm water within these 2 days. Somehow, warm water can speed up the recovery of flu. Anyway, she just took her Piriton. I think that’s the cause of her sound sleep.
It took mummy almost half of the day to think of how to feed her Piriton. She hates medicines. She will spit it up immediately whenever she was forced to take medicines. As a result, mummy make her a little bit of delicious Milo. However, that’s not the ordinary Milo. There is 3 ml of Piriton in it.
Somehow, she finished the Milo. You really like chocolate drinks, don’t you Lizzy?
Elizabeth likes flowers. Like mother like daughter. Mummy, granny and baby Elizabeth all like flowers. Basically, most of the ladies like flowers too. Flowers are girls best friend.
Thus, mummy planned to buy some flowers home while I went out for marketing this morning. As Elizabeth likes to have flowers in the house. Since she is sick, the flowers might cheer her up.
In fact, flowers have healing powers. Researches show that just by looking at flowers will change our mood. We feel happier with flowers around. Thus, flowers can be a healthy gift for patients. Besides, flowers like lavender, chamomile and blue lotus even contain healing properties.
Anyway, mummy was so careless. Mummy straight away drive home after marketing. I totally forgot about the flowers.
Elizabeth is still sick. As mummy saw her condition getting serious this morning, mummy quickly call her pediatrician. Then, mummy went to the hospital to collect the Piriton from the pediatrician at about 11am.
It’s always Piriton whenever she has flu. Mummy always try to let her recover on her own as it’s best to let our kids take less medicines. However, mummy just can’t see her suffer.
Finally, it left mummy no choice but to go straight to the doctor.
Elizabeth is so keen on learning recently. Thus, her daily activities will not limited to playing toys anymore. She starts learning a lot from the first words books. Anyway, mummy feel that she learn most from her educational videos such as Barney, Baby Genius and Brainy Baby.
As she likes the videos so much, she even developed the interest of operating the VCD player. And, she can almost place the CVD into the player on her own now. I guess soon she might even know what is the hdmi cables. Kids are so smart nowadays. We just can’t underestimate them, don’t we?
I am quite tired today. No mood to laugh either. May be it’s because of the drops from my nose. That’s irritating! What to do? Just keep rubbing my nose. Gets off you sticky thing!
I keep sneezing too. That’s not fun at all!
Luckily I have the new rocking chair. At least I can lay down to watch TV in this tiring day. That’s better! Thanks, dad!
P/S: Sorry that the photos were so dark. As mummy forget to on flash light after turning it off to capture some food.
Elizabeth really had a great time with her one and only car. My maid used to tie a string and pulled her around the garden since she don’t know how to “drive” yet. We take turns actually.Sometimes, mummy was the one who pushed her around.
But, she fell from her car a few times. As there is no safety features to hold her. Luckily the falls were not serious. Still, it’s dangerous. Thus now, she spend most of her time in the garden with her new bicycle. It’s has great safety features.
However, mummy don’t feel like leaving the car at home anymore. It’s space consuming. But, used cars victoria will only buy the real used car. Absolutely not a used toy car. In this case, may be mummy have to give it away.
Yesterday, mummy was worried about Elizabeth’s swollen forehead. And, Ia m so glad to see that the blue black has totally gone. Looks like the rice is so powerful.
When mummy thought it’s going to be a fine new day for Elizabeth, unfortunately she get sick. Poor girl! Mummy is still watching her. It has only the sign of flu at the moment. Nothing serious. Since medication is not advisable for light flu, I think I will just let it be first.
Mummy thought Elizabeth was quite strong. When mummy or daddy were sick, she is always safe. But not this time. Kakak is the one who passed the virus to her. In short, mummy got to be always careful and watch out for those who are sick. LOL!
Elizabeth likes to watch cartoons or educational videos. She loves TV. But, she can be very picky. She don’t really appreciate movies unless there are animals appeared in it. Somehow, She will be attracted by advertisements.
I think most toddlers enjoy watching advertisements. As I still remember that my brother used to appreciate advertisements on the TV too, when he was still toddler. As a result, my mum even recorded the advertisements for him.
Elizabeth also likes to look at the billboard by the road side. She gets even excited with digital signage.
Mummy is glad that the bump on Elizabeth’s forehead is improving. The “bungalow” is now turning to “terrace”. hahaha……
Mummy actually keep on wrapping some hot rice in her handkerchief to left it on and lift it up from the “big bungalow” since last night. In this case, the heat from the rice actually encourages blood circulation. Thus, relief the blood clogged. And, quickly heal the bump.
My girl is interested with coins more than paper money. May be it’s more visible. Daddy always place the coins on mummy’s dressing table whenever he is at home. And, Elizabeth will try her best to reach them.
She will ask mummy to get her onto the bed. As the dressing table is placing side by side to the bed, she will lean on the table side as she climb up the bed. Then, she start looking for coins.
She knows that she is not allowed to pick up the coins. As mummy insists that coins are dirty. Still, she will stretch her hand out to reach the coins if she sees them. Toddlers just won’t follow instruction, don’t they?
May be daddy should put his remaining coins in some other places. Hide it. As she won’t look for it, if it is not seen. Mummy just want to make sure that she won’t fall from the bed again because of a few pennies.
Mummy is interested in coins too. But, not these pennies. I like US Mint Coins. That’s precious! Valuable!
Oh, God! Can you make mummy more alert and make sure mummy manage to grab her next time. Please protect my girl. Mummy really can’t take it anymore! It’s terrifying to see her fly off and get hit badly as she fell down from the bed to the floor.
She was about to sleep actually. We were rolling on the bed, kissing each other and laughing happily. Suddenly, she stood up. Running to the conner of the bed and stand by the dressing table as usual. I guess she was about to grab something on the table. But, she slipped.
Somehow, mummy was quick enough to get her. She was save. That’s the first time. Then, she did the stunt again later when “kakak” came in. She flew straight off the bed like being thrown out. Her leg get stuck half way. Thus, she came tumbling after. At last, her forehead went knocked on the floor.
What a tragedy! That was so hurt! She cried! Non stop for about 15 minutes. As she was terrified. Mummy’s heart was breaking as I see her so pale on the face and her hands and body was shivering a bit.
She is asleep. But, it’s not over yet. There is a big bump on her forehead now. Poor girl! Careless mummy! Hurtful baby!
Do you buy educational toys for your children, especially toddlers. I believe in interactive toys. Thus, most of Elizabeth’s toys are those that so called “educational toys”. Anyway, we should find the interactive toys that suitable for our kids’ age group.
Also, music can be very stimulating. In my opinion, music has the power to stimulate our babies brain function. So, we should look for toys with interesting music. In this context, mummy likes “Leap Frog” so much!
I am amaze with the “Leap Frog” creative ways of music presentation. Somehow, it is so different from others. Very joyful! Something that can really make us dance.
I am so glad that daddy bought the “Leap Frog” learning table for baby Elizabeth as her 1st birthday present. Very interesting! It’s one of her favorite. Besides, it is just as solid as billet grilles.
Elizabeth is getting very fierce since last week. She will “roar” like tiger or lion when she gets mad. Mummy hates that! That’s irritating.
Obviously, mummy can see that she is a hot tempered type. Mummy is worried. But, what can mummy do to “tame” her? Anyone has any good suggestion?
Somehow, mummy must first stop “kakak” from roaring at her. Didn’t she understand that roaring back to Elizabeth whenever she did it first will make things worst? That will make Elizabeth think that it’s ok to roar like this. LOL!
Elizabeth can wake up so early in the morning despite always sleeping late at night. However, mostly she wake up to look for milk. She will go back to sleep after milk and wake up again around 10 a.m.
However, she can cry out loud until my mum or my maid always mistaken that she has fall down from my bed when she is hungry. LOL! Mummy got to be quick in preparing her milk. Thus, mummy starts setting up warmer in the room now. In this case, mummy can prepare the milk in advance. No more waiting!
Mummy bought this warmer long ago before Elizabeth was born. And, never use it as she was breast fed at first. Now, the warmer came in handy. Looks like mummy did not waste my money from buying a bottle warmer. However, mummy still need another Loud Alarm Clock to wake myself up every morning if Elizabeth keep waking up for milk every night about 3 to 4 a.m.
Kids can be very curious. Elizabeth started to check mummy’s handbag, the plastic bags that mummy bring home form supermarket, hypermarket and wet market.
And, she will be very happy if she found something she is familiar with in the bag. For example, her “Mamypoko”, Bonmil or grapes. However, mummy is surprise that she can be cheer up by cans too, especially if she gets a tiny small cans.
What’s this? Mm! Just read the label first.
See… I can shake it! It’s cute! I like red!
Mummy think it’s all right to let my little princess dig around. I always let it be even it’s a bit mess up. Somehow, we parents have to understand that toddlers learn from touch and feel.
Last week, daddy just bought an expensive rocking chair for Elizabeth. But, she needs a bicycle to have some outdoor fun too. These days, she keep pointing to the bicycle whenever she saw it.
Thus, mummy bought a new bicycle for her this week.
There is an extra steel given to fix under it to make it into a stay put rocking bicycle. Innovative and lovely!
With “Push Handle”, “Feet Rest”, basket at the back and a few choices of music by simply pressing a button infront!
Elizabeth loves bees. It’s all because of the cartoon “Bee Movie”. So, mummy get a bee bicycle for her. Mummy finally found the product from Taiwan at “Teik Seng”. The quality is so much better than those form China. It’s solid and has fine workmanship. And, the price different is only RM5.
Anyway, our house seems full of toys now. But, our initial plan is to add in nice furnitures not toys. May be mummy and daddy has spend too much on toys. If mummy really want to follow the initial plan, then mummy got to look for discount furniture now.
Yesterday, Elizabeth was playing at the playground in Gurney Plaza again. Mummy has yet to show you how much she loves that playground. However, mummy just can’t wait to show you how much daddy has sacrifies for his girl.
Mummy really got to “kow tow” to daddy. It’s quite impossible for an adult to sqeeze in that tiny little “Taxi”. But, he just did it! Cute daddy!
I can see that daddy really made a great effort to spend time with his girl. We love you, daddy!
Elizabeth learn so fast these days. She is kind of quick sometimes. Show her once, she might not perform immediately. But, it’s in her mind. Usually, she will give mummy, daddy or granny a big surprise. She will do it when we are not expecting it.
After all, you will never expect your 1 year old girl to bring your pack of cigarettes together with the lighter for you when you are about to walk out of the main door, don’t you? That’s what Elizabeth did to daddy.
Daddy is a smoker. And, he is trying so hard to avoid smoking in front of our little princess. But still, she knows that daddy will bring along his cigarettes and lighter everywhere he goes.
In this case, mummy is worried that she might learn how to smoke in the future. May be it’s time for daddy to consider drug rehabilitation!
Elizabeth loves pen these days. She can hold a pen nicely. Once the pen is on her hand, he will start drawing. Thus, mummy taught her to draw on papers or books. Otherwise, she will draw on other things.
I got a pen and paper now. Where should I settle down to write?
Don’t disturb me, mummy! I am busy writing! LOL!
Standing too long. A bit tired! Er… May be I can rest against the pole and keep writing. Oh! That’s so comfortable. Keep working. Don’t stop! Just like mummy and daddy!
Luckily, she still don’t know how to operate this “mechanical pen”. And, mummy never show her too. So, everything in the house is still save. She still draw nothing on the paper. And, she can neither draw anything on mummy’s bed.
Oh! Poor girl! Forgive me, darling! But, it’s better to be this way. There are still many things you need to learn. Just forget about pen operation first, ok?
Elizabeth has grown up a lot. She is getting heavier and taller. She is now 10.2kg. Mummy cannot held her for long now. It’s tough. She is too heavy for mummy. Looks like mummy has to go to gym.
Sometimes, Elizabeth likes to go under the table or chair. As she grow taller, she will always knock herself when she goes under the these things. Poor girl! May be mummy should start setting up the safety features at the corners of the tables, chair and cupboards.
However, mummy is more concern about her bed. She is still sleeping in the play pan. The standard size play pan is like a box. And, it’s getting smaller now. Soon, Elizabeth will out grown this small bed.
It’s time for mummy to change this small bed to a bigger one. Elizabeth will feel more comfortable if she can sleep in a bigger bed. After all, mummy just need to buy a bigger mattress. It’s best for her to sleep on the floor. That’s very safe. As she can never fall from the bed.
I think memory foam mattress is the best. It’s soft and manage to support our body according to our body curve. I am sure it can protects my baby’s spine and gives her a good night sleep. Besides, it’s hypo-allergic. That’s best for babies or toddlers. May be mummy should consider the memory foam pillow too.
“Mummy… Can you please stop working in front of the computer?”
“Mummy, carry me!”
Oh! Little baby always need mummy. It’s normal to be clingy. Poor girl!
You don’t know my girl. She’s just being tricky. She will watch mummy from far. Once she sees mummy get up form the chair, she will come to the chair, climb up, start pressing the keyboard, touching the screen, moving the mouse, laughing and clapping hands proudly. That’s my naughty Elizabeth!
Elizabeth will always come to mummy while mummy is working in front of the computer. Simply because she loves to imitate mummy. She feels proud whenever she got the chance to “use” the computer like mummy. LOL!
Daddy likes to play rough with his little princess. Guys are guys! But, Elizabeth is a girl. I think it’s not advisable to play rough with her. A girl has to be feminine.
However, Elizabeth has learn to kick the ball recently. As her hair is still quite short, she looks exactly like a boy while kicking the ball. Oh, mummy is a bit worried! I hope it’s still possible for her to grow up into a graceful lady.
Anyway, she likes to play football with daddy. And, she really kick so well. But only with her right leg. She just don’t know how to kick with her left leg. Still, daddy is so proud of her. I think by the time she can do it well with her left leg, daddy might even considered awarding her soccer trophies. LOL!
When mummy first let Elizabeth try her new chair at the shop, she seems not interested as she was crying for milk at that time. Oh! My poor girl was hungry. So, it’s normal to neglect the new toy. That’s what in mummy’s mind at that moment.
Mummy is confident that my girl is going to like the new chair. After all, It’s a very cute and colorful baby chair. As we brought the chair home last Saturday night, Elizabeth refused to sit in it. Mummy feel nervous at that moment.
“What if she does not like it at all? That’s quite expensive.”
However, mummy feel very consoling within hours. As my baby started to enjoy this cute little baby chair with her baby.
Baby… Baby… Nice chair right?
Twinkle, Twinkle little stars, How I wonder, What you are?
Oh, Turn Over, baby! I am going to protect you from this shocking snap shot lightning!
Elizabeth used to love bathing in a pale. Mummy enjoyed watching her splashing the water, twisting in the pale and laugh out loud while going up and down in this small pale that normally people used to soak clothings.
But now, she prefer shower. So, no more bathing in the pale. It sounds easier as mummy just have to on the shower, then bathe her straight away. In fact, it’s tough. Little Elizabeth likes to move around playing with taps or bottles in the bathroom just like any other kids. The floor was so wet while mummy was showering her. Obviously, she might fall any time.
So, mummy feels so tense as I bathe her. I don’t want her to fall anymore. I got to watch her closely. And, mummy no longer can bathe her on my own. I need my maid to be around helping me to hold her.
Oh! I miss the time that we can play and have fun together while Elizabeth is bathing. May be placing the slip proof mats on the bathroom’s floor is the best solution.
Mummy keep wondering weather should get baby Elizabeth a baby chair. As she always sit on the floor and raise her head high up to watch TV. This sitting position seems might cause her hunch back.
Finally, mummy made up my mind.
This is the rocking chair that mummy choose for baby Elizabeth. Elizabeth loves swing. But, she needs a chair now. So rocking chair seems to be the best choice. It is both swing and chair.
This Fisher Price latest rocking chair is so nice. So bright and colorful! Besides, it has very flexible and easy to fix mechanism. Very innovative! Really amazing!
Mummy should bought it since Elizabeth was still an infant. As this is an infant rocker with toys, music and vibration facility. It’s simply a fantastic baby massage chair. Somehow, it can change up to 6 different positions. Thus, it can even turn to a chair that suits a 4 years old toddler.
Most importantly, She loves it! So even though it’s expensive, still worth it. Am I right, daddy? Mummy needs a chair too! The exclusive shiatsu massage chair.
This is what happened on this Boring Monday night. So, mummy end up has a wonderful night. hahaha…
Obviously, little Elizabeth wanted to come down on her own. But, she is afraid that she might fall. She tried so hard to sort out a way. Run here and there. End up so tired. Thus, laying down for a while.
But, not giving up. Finally, she tried to jump and asked help from her grandma at the other side of the glass. She failed again. “So… Mummy! Please carry me!” hahaha……
Mummy, Elizabeth and “kakak” were together in the study room that night. We have nothing much to play. And, Elizabeth don’t feel like “studying” too. Instead, this naughty girl insisted to climb up the bench. Alright! Go ahead!
Finally, she realized that’s a terrible idea. hahaha…
Elizabeth always play in the study room as there is air conditioning and carpeted. Thus, it’s a safe and cool playground.
Weather is really hot these days. Elizabeth just can’t stand the heat. Her hair will be set on the wet look all day long if there is no air conditioning. I think it’s best to use ionizer instead of air con for our kids in this hot weather.
Ionizer has health properties. It can keep the air clean and fresh. But not drying like air conditioning. It is especially helpful in reducing the harmful effects of the heat produced by the electronic appliances at home such as computers and TVs. Negetive ions from the ionizer can neutralize these postive ions.
We need to keep our kids away from positive ions. As positive ions might be the cause of many sicknesses. A truck with Dodge Truck Radiator, certainly manage to keep its engine cool. On the other hand, the ionizer is used to keep our baby cool and healthy.
In short, our baby need ionizer to survive healthier in this polluted world.
Elizabeth seems only eating rice and fish ball a lot these days. Mummy is a bit worried about her various nutritional need. Thus, mummy just bought another book which is fully on baby and toddler food recipes.
Basically, it includes first foods for weaning babies, food allergies tips, toddler breakfasts, lunches, dinners, picnic food, party food, snacks and nibbles. The recipes look simple but innovative. There are cakes, cookies, shepherd’s pies, pasta, chicken, pizza, fruit dips and so on. All looks so delicious!
Hopefully, some of the recipes could turned out to be Elizabeth’s favorite.
Elizabeth is so vain since baby. She loves to look into the mirror. While she look into the mirror, normally she will kiss herself — kiss her own image which appeared in the mirror. So cute! And, very lovely!
Nowadays, she even wants to apply cream on her face like mummy. So, sometimes she will touch her face assumed she is applying cream while she look into the mirror. She likes to comb her hair and try to put on mummy’s hair clip too.
This is how I wash my hair!
She even loves to apply soap and rub her body on her own now. And, she enjoys bathing under the shower or in the bath tub. In this case, I guess soon she will appreciate bathroom vanity like mummy.
In fact, bathroom is always mummy’s favorite corner of the house. And, mummy like classical English designs so much. Best still if there is stained glass door or windows for the bathroom.
With such fantastic bathroom vanity, mummy believed both Elizabeth and I will enjoy ourselves in the bathroom for hours!
Yesterday, mummy went shopping at Tesco. Tesco is quite far away from our house. However, every time Elizabeth’s “Mamy Poko Pants” finished, mummy will surely look for it at Tesco.
I am sure everyone knows that some of the things in Tesco are really cheap. “Mamy Poko Pants” is one of it. The usual price for “Mamy Poko” at Guardian, Giant, Pakson, Cold Storage or shall I said most of the convenient stores, supermarkets or hypermarkets is about RM 21.90 for the XL size 12 pieces pack. But, Tesco is only selling at RM 16.40 each.
What a big difference, isn’t it? Thus, mummy will always buy “Mamy Poko Pants” from Tesco. Mummy will buy at least 4 packs at one time. Sometimes, mummy even buy up to 6 packs.
This time mummy bought 5 as that’s what all left on the rack. hehe…
Anyway, don’t buy the large pack. Most of the time, the large pack is much expensive than the small pack at Tesco.
Tonight, daddy is going to come back late. As daddy has a mini gathering with his college mates. Another boring Friday for mummy. Anyway, hopefully tomorrow is anther beautiful Saturday.
Daddy promised he will take Elizabeth to Taiping Zoo (provided he can wake up earlier tomorrow). In fact, mummy and daddy always try our best to take Elizabeth out every weekends.
Little baby always curious about the outside world. Thus, Elizabeth will be extremely happy when we bring her out. And, I feel it is good to let our kids have enough exposure. That’s how they learn through actual experiences.
In fact, we really enjoy the first long distance trip to KL. Thus, mummy is looking forward for the Taiping Zoo trip too. And, It’s best if we can get cheap vacation deals to travel overseas as Elizabeth has no chance to ride a plane yet. That’s another precious experience for baby Elizabeth, isn’t it?
Today, Elizabeth has enter her 16th months. Wow… She is big girl now. However, when mummy carry her out, most people will guess she is much younger than her actual age. Few days ago, there is a Punjabi auntie thought that little Elizabeth is only about 8 months old. *Drop the head and slap on the forehead*
She is laughing, walking, running, shouting, bullying, teasing, dancing and grumbling nowadays. Yeah… still grumbling as she don’t know how to speak yet. I think she is pretty slow is terms of her language development.
Anyway, little Elizabeth can understand Hokkien and English perfectly. She don’t know Mandarin as mummy and daddy don’t speak mandarin with her. May be we should start now, so that she is familiar with Mandarin too.
She likes anything in the restaurant. But, don’t really eat a lot of home cook meal. Somehow, mummy just keep feeding her as home cook is always healthier. Until today, Mummy never feed Elizabeth with meat. She eats a lot of fish, fruits and vegetables.
Elizabeth particularly like fruits especially grapes, apples and bananas. Fish ball is her favorite food now. She can eat 4 to 5 fish balls in a time. And, she still drink 3 to 4 times milk per day. And, she loves TV!
Mummy can see that she is a very playful type. As she likes tricks so much. She even try to tease us. Cute! Very cute! And, she will always show us funny faces. Basically, she enjoy people praising her too. Such as proud girl!
Lastly, she dance really well. As she can follow the rhythm of the music to dance slowly or quickly with many different styles. Amazing! Anyway, she is very temperamental now. She will shout, sit on the floor and cry, straight away cry out loud, scratch people, pull people’s hair or bite people when her request is unfulfilled. *blush*
Elizabeth is getting utmost clingy and naughty since this week onwards. She will bite or scratch anyone of us when she is moody. And, it hurts. Everyone in the family is complaining, accept daddy. She likes to bully mummy, but seldom attack her dad.
Besides, Elizabeth will watch mummy closely in the house. I think this is to make sure mummy did not went out without her. And, she always want mummy to carry her. Something like all day long.
However, mummy is so busy. Mummy have to keep writing, work online, go marketing, go massage, go shopping, go hair wash, and so on. Things get worst when the Internet connection is so weak. And, it’s always weak.
There are so many phone calls too. Mummy has to pick up the calls. They might be important business phone calls as our house is our office too. But, who is going to bath and feed Elizabeth? *Slap forehead*
Oh! Mummy really wish I have the VoIP Phone Systems ,which has very complete features for business use and it’s highly user friendly too. May be that’s the solution to save more time for baby Elizabeth.
Last Saturday, mummy, daddy and Elizabeth were praying at The Goddess of Mercy Temple ( Kuan Yin Teng) Penang. This is one of the most famous historical buildings in Penang.
And, mummy seems never brought her there. This should be the first time little Elizabeth visited this highly auspicious temple. As she already learn how to pray with both palms close together — “Pai Pai”, she will “Pai Pai” whenever she was asked to do so. Good girl! May God bless you!
Mummy likes the idea of daddy that take the initiative to free the birds together with little Lizzy. Buddhism believes “Thou shall not kill”, and it’s good karma to free the animals instead of killing them. Thus, there is a stall outside the “Kuan Yin Teng” selling birds in the cage to promote this idea.
I don’t quite agree with the seller. They are not supposed to make this a business. However, it’s good to show Elizabeth that we should free the birds instead of killing or catching them.
Last few days when there was no electricity supply for our house, mummy took Elizabeth put. We went window shop. We were wondering in ToysRus for so long. Mummy was looking for tiny little sofa at ToysRus. As mummy feels Elizabeth need a sofa, so that she can rest properly on the sofa while watching TV.
Mummy just can’t find it. Instead, Elizabeth was interested with the baby swing. So, mummy put her into the swing for a while just to make her happy.
I really don’t mind buying one for her as she really enjoy the swing. As gold investing is good for our kids’ future but we as parents need to invest in toys too. As that’s what our baby will appreciate now. They will only appreciate gold or other investments when they grown up to be an adult like us.
Anyway, she is practically overweight for the swing. Those are for babies who are less than 20 lbs. However, mummy will never give up. Mummy will keep searching for a comfortable and safe swing for baby Elizabeth.
For the past whole week, Elizabeth started to miss her daddy when daddy goes to work. She
can even picked up the phone every now and then and start talking for so long. Mummy still can’t understand her language yet.
But, mummy can hear she called “Papa”.
Muaks… You are so cute, baby! Mummy wish I could understand what do you mean. It should be more fun and amusing!
Elizabeth also keep asking mummy to carry her outside. And, if she does not see daddy’s car, her face will immediately turned grumpy. Then, she will point to the place where daddy always park the car there. And, twist and turn her hands to signal “No”.
Poor, girl! Daddy is coming home, k?
Obviously, little Elizabeth has grown up a lot. She is learning how to make a call now. And, she already knows that she should hand up the phone once the conversation finished. Bravo!
