Posted by Everyday Healy on March 31, 2009

Books. She love books. Especially big books. So, some new coloring, abc, and 123 books from Popular great discount fair which discount up to 90% at the 5th floor in One Stop Shopping Mall.

There are more, because of the attractive discount.

Chinese learning VCDs. A set of 5 including one English Nursery Rhymes. All four Chinese learning VCDs are in perfect Mandarin. Good! Just forget about the English Nursery Rhymes. Sorry to say that the English pronunciation is so lousy.

By the way, it’s time to learn some Mandarin, girl! Mummy can see that you seem have no interest for it. That’s dangerous! Ha~

That’s where I play ball

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 25, 2009

She plays with balls everyday. One of her favorite toys. Trust me! Ball is a must for every toddler.

Well, last time it was only those small colorful  plastic balls for her. Now, obviously she has extended her interest to football. She loves basketball too. It’s so lucky that she can find both in her uncle’s room. So… that’s her football field or basketball court. Hopefully, this bed has one of those strong bed frames. Sorry, uncle Bill.  Hahaha……

Besides, she is cheering for the baseball game now whenever she saw it in the TV show. Oh… Such a sporty little one. :P

No Surgery for my Thumb, Please…

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 24, 2009

What’s this?  It’s Elizabeth’s thumb mold. It’s for splinting her thumb. Bad news! Her thumb is undergoing physiotherapy.

Luckily, no life danger, no serious injury. Just can’t get her right thumb straight up. According to the orthopedic and hand specialist, there is very high chance that her thumb will response very well to splinting and massage therapy.

How’s Splinting? Very uncomfortable of course. Thus, mummy will keep on massage her right thumb everyday and let her wears the mold only at night. As she will take it out as soon as mummy put it on during day time.

Let’s work this out together, baby! We can do it! Otherwise, Surgery! You surely hate it! :(

So…Let’s cross our fingers and pray hard! This therapy must work. No surgery, please……

Pool Slide is so fun

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 17, 2009

Another sweet memory that mummy will never forget. It’s the first time little Elizabeth try out the pool slide while we were at KL on the 7th morning. She enjoyed sliding down with daddy so much. Laughing loud when the water splashed on her face. No more phobia of getting into the water. Just a little bit careful.

Mummy: “Come on girl, mummy will walk you up and let’s sit and slide down.”

Elizabeth: “Ok.”

When we were on top of the man made mountain right in front of the slide……

Mummy make little Elizabeth sat down, getting ready to let her slide down on her own, while daddy was waiting at the other end of the slide.

Mummy: ” Baby, go!”

Elizabeth quickly stood up and replied: “No, no, no, no.”

LOL! So cute! :P

I wondered when will you started to swim on your own. But, it’s good to swim. Make it a habit. Swimming is a joyful exercise for little ones like you. Keep you healthy, fit and slim.

Well, mummy knows weight loss pills has faster result. But, that’s only for adults.

Skating is cool

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 16, 2009

Mummy bought the first book of  “Peter and Jane” for me quite some time ago. Now, I started to like both Peter and Jane. But, the the dog is my favorite.

Peter and Jane goes to beach. So, I tell daddy I want to go to beach too. Daddy said: “Next weekend.”

“Ok.” I replied. Then, I showed mummy how I play skates like Jane by stepping on my two plastic blocks with wheels.

These are the blocks that I mean.

 Look! That’s mummy’s first impression. Immediately, she said:”Mummy will buy the real skates for you. This is not skate. Stop “skating” with these. Ok?”

“Ok.” I replied.

So, this is what I get on Saturday night. Taa… Daa………

But, why it was no fun at all when I put it on initially? It is not moving. Gosh! Mummy actually locked the wheels. No, mummy! No!

So, the wheels were unlocked for the 2nd time I put it on. Oh! I am moving fast as mummy was pulling me. Cool! I am flying! Thanks, Jane!  :P

Not Just Bananas, Apples, Oranges and Grapes

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 13, 2009

It’s Friday again. No bookshop today. As mummy decided to let her go for the free trial of Montessori class organized by the school where she attended Kinder Beat Class there all the time.

In fact, mummy is kind of  busy today. So, we will only sit down and read later tonight. For the last 2 days, this is what we have been doing.

Yeah… all fruits. Usually, she will ask for bananas, apples, oranges and grapes. That’s it. It seems that she is only familiar with these 4. But, she absolutely needs to know other fruits. Besides books and pictures, mummy is going to buy many types of the real fruits to show her.

Another better option would be bringing her to the fruits farm. As this curious little girl will surely interested to know how does the Blackberry plants look like, when she got a chance to see and taste the blackberries.

Where is the Train? Where?

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 12, 2009

As usual, my little girl enjoyed the yum yum Bojari rice and fried chicken at Mdm Kuan. Then, she was truly excited and wanted to try it out when she first saw the indoor roller coaster at Genting Highland. But, we only went for marry go round, train, the gondola, and other high rise but slow moving rides.

Little Elizabeth: “Where is the train? Where?”

She just keep asking where to find that roller coaster whenever she it pass by. Gosh! Mummy was so scared. That’s dangerous! This little girl is kind of wild, isn’t she?

Well! Mummy enjoyed the most taking pictures for this little cheeky who just started posting.

“Say Cheez…”

So cute! :P

How about one more video featuring little Elizabeth’s act of “Bird flies”.  LOL!

Not in the public, please

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 11, 2009

Elizabeth did join the party. That was almost the end of the dinner. She was a bit uneasy when she first step into the grand ballroom. After a while, she was busy eating sea coconut and longan dessert.

Mmm… Yummy!

Good! Just enjoy anything that you like. Take as much as you wish. It’s good to gain some weight back. But, eat slowly. And, be a graceful little girl, ok? :P

Huh? Who’s gaining weight now. Obviously, someone else is going to need the plus size sexy lingerie soon. But, absolutely not little Lizzy! Alright! Baby should eat more. Whereas mummy should loose some weight. :(

Anyway, could it be some of the yum yum sea coconut sticking between your teeth? But, not in the public. I think it’s time for you to learn not to dig your mouth in the public, baby. Must be well mannered. Let’s do it in the room or washroom. Hehe…

Lots of Phlegm

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 9, 2009

We are back. Unfortunately, little Elizabeth is terribly sick. Vomited 3 times in the car during our way to KL and on the journey home. “Daddy!” That’s the first word came out from her mouth every time she vomited. Then, she will hug her dad by the side while daddy was driving. Poor daddy’s girl!

Could it be motion sickness? Even her pediatrician can only said: “May be.” Yes! We have visited her pediatrician. Daddy came along with us. It’s virus Infection. Should be the phlegm that cause the vomits. Lots of phlegm. But, she coughs only once in a while.

Anyway, her voice changed since last Wednesday. So, it’s almost a week. Thus, so many medications. :(

Sorry, baby! Be brave. They might not taste good. But, they just won’t taste very bad either.

Holiday in KL

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 6, 2009

Mummy has packed for little Elizabeth. Just a few hours later, we will be on our way to KL. This time it’s either a 2 days or maximum 3 days trip. Anyway, I think this little miss will at least have a great time jumping in the hotel room and playing in the bath tub. I hope we have time to visit some interesting places such as Sunway Lagoon or The Mines Wonderland.

Anyway, we will surely drop by any of the Mdm Kuan’s Nyonya Cuisine. Mummy still remember how much this little cheeky loves the Bojari Rice. LOL! In fact, little Elizabeth has slim down a lot recently. So, please enjoy the food and eat all you can, my dear!

Don’t worry about gaining weight. Mummy will get the best diet pill for you, if your body really become out of shape within this 3 days. Hahaha……  This is quite impossible, unless you eat and sleep like a pig. Hahahaha……

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 5, 2009

Do you know that you are entering 28th months today, my dear? May be you will ask “How’s growing up like?” At this stage, it’s less TV, more playing times with your own imagination. At times, we make cookies with play dough, then we cook with real spices and vegetables. And, we toast the drink all the time. Let’s Cheers! :)

What more? Singing! Yeah…… you can sing along with the songs in Mama Mia. Of course “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “The Alphabet Song” sounds so much clearer. Most amazingly, I heard the right tune now.  :)

But these days, you are such a “no no” child.

“Wear shirt?”  No!

“Wear pants?” No!

“Bathe?” No!

“Music Class” No!

“School?” No!

And, you don’t even inform mummy when you need to go to toilet. :(

“Drawing Class?” Yes!

“Chocolate?” Yes! ( Only 1 small piece each day)

“Playground?” Yes! Yes!  Yes!

“Apple?” Yes! ( “Only apples, k? No more grapes!)

“Birthday Song?” Yes! Yes!

“Go ‘Kai Kai’?” Yes!

“Wear cap?” Yes!

“Wear Sunglasses?” Yes!

“Swimming?” Yes!

Also, you look great! Trust mummy, please! Stop dieting. Take more rice, soup, chicken, noodles, bread, biscuits and anything else that you like. GAin some weight back. That’s better!

Her 4 New English Books

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 4, 2009

Last Friday, Mummy thought of taking her to the bookshop. But, we only managed to do it on Saturday. That should be more enjoyable as daddy is around.

Well, always encourage our kids to read. That’s my philosophy of home education. As reading is a great past time and they have to like books in order to like schooling. And, little Lizzy needs books with pictures or stickers at the age of 2. It’s best if she can do a little bit of coloring too.

Somehow, she started to like ABC’s and 123’s ever since she learn to recognized them. So, it’s time to brush up her English a bit. May be she is interesting to know the words more soon in the future instead of just pictures. As she actually pretend to read now whenever she is holding the books with words.

So, mummy bought her 4 new English activity books last Saturday.

They are: Basic Grammar, Vocabulary, Phonics and Consonants, A to Z. All from “Popular” bookshop. Each day, mummy will let her completes 1 page and also repeats the previous work. Even though it is stated there as activity book for Pre Primary 1. But, they are quite simple. Yet, there are coloring, stickers pasting, and tracing activities in it. Thus, she loves them all. :)

May be in the future, this vain pot might prefer mummy to buy jewelry for her. But, at the moment mummy is so glad that she actually appreciates books. :P

Finger Pain Pain

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 3, 2009

This morning, my little princess seems so ready to school. She was happily carrying her bag. Mummy was so happy and was about to start the car engine while the maid was putting her into the car. Suddenly, she cried out so loud once the I head “bang” , the sound of the door closed.

Mummy quickly turned to her. I saw her turning to the back and her hand was hanging by the back door (while she was standing at the front seat). I am still not sure. As I can’t see clearly what’s her hand doing there.

“Kakak, apa pasal?” (What’s up?)

“Tengok baby punya tangan.” (Watch out for her hand) I said.

“Alamak, dia punya tangan!” (Gosh! Her hand!) my maid was shouting while she quickly open the back door.

Liz was still crying. It was the fourth finger on her left hand that was caught between the door. Once mummy saw the blue black line on that finger, I cried even louder than Elizabeth. Mummy feel so hurt and extremely panic. I ran out of the car to look for help. At the same time, granny was rushing to the door. Luckily, there was granny. I felt so much better when I knew there is someone around to help.

We quickly informed daddy who was just woke up and working in the study room. He was so blurred. Obviously, he did not heard our cries. But, it was so loud? Anyway, Elizabeth cried even louder when she saw her daddy.

We sent her to the clinic. She actually stop crying while she was still in the car. Then, she was playing happilly in the play room and moving her injured finger well while we were waiting for the doctor to reach the clinic. Mummy pressed on the finger. It was ok. She did not cry. And, she can even bend the finger while holding on the swing and balls.

It seems no fracture and not broken either. Just swelling. So, mummy send her home without seeing the doctor. Everything seems settle down now. I know it’s my fault too as I should watch the maid closely. However, I really feel like slapping this careless maid when she was trying to make all sorts of excuse while daddy was questioning her.

As I knew she was getting lazy, careless and got no heart for the job anymore since she decided to go home this year. But, I am still paying. Can’t you just finish your job nicely for this last 8 months? May be I should get a new one and send her home earlier.

Yellow and Blue Baby Top

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 2, 2009

Last Saturday, mummy actually bought 2 pieces of baby top for little Elizabeth. One blue, one yellow.

It’s been some time mummy never find any nice singlet for baby Elizabeth. Finally, we get one. And, mummy is so glad it’s yellow. As my little princess looks great in yellow. Hehe…..

Anyway, both should look great if matching with white shorts. They are from OFO which located at Auto City, Juru. This place is full of nice dresses too. But, little Elizabeth refuse to try them out. Also, she has more than enough dress as mummy bought so many for her during Chinese New Year. So, let’s forget about buying new one. Ha!

By the way, it’s a good place to shop for nice hanger and table lamp for baby room too.:P

I am posting

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 1, 2009

Look at my girl! Isn’t she look smart? This photo was took in the afternoon right before we step out of our gate for lunch. She was the one who requested for her cap and her new sunglasses. I know… So vain! If you are curious about what happened to her old sunglasses, mummy has another picture to show you then.

How about that? Hahaha…… Frankly, the old one looks nicer. But, we really can’t find that missing piece. So sorry, baby! However, “I think you are quite happy with the new one, don’t you, baby?”

By the way, mummy is so glad that little Elizabeth has started posting while mummy is taking photo for her. Time to post again, baby! Say “Cheez……”
