See Iguana

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 26, 2009

Yesterday, we went out for lunch.

Liz: “Mummy… No inguana.”

Mummy: “Of course, it’s quite impossible to see iguana in a coffee shop.”

Liz: “Mm! No iguana.”

Later when we came home.

Daddy: “Are you boring, Elizabeth? Where you want to you?”

Liz: “See iguana.”

Daddy: “Not again! We go there almost every week. Not too often, baby.”

So, this little cheeky was hinting us  she wants to go to the CTY pet shop even when we are still taking lunch. LOL! So cute!

This morning…

Liz:”Daddy, don’t want go school. Go see iguana.”

On the way to the kinder beat class…

Liz: ” Don’t want go school! Don’t want go school! See iguana! See igauna!” Throwing tantrum, jumping and was going to cry.

Mummy:”Alright. Music class first. Then, we go see iguana.”

And, yes! She was so happy while we were hanging around the CTY pet shop. But, she visited the baby shark more than the iguana.

Obviously she knows how to make a request on where to go now.

Chicken, Prawns and Rice Please…

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 23, 2009

Well, this is something she always left behind recently. Obviously, this little girl don’t like to eat steam fish anymore. It’s ok. Her food preference changes from time to time.

Anyway, it’s still mee and rice for lunch and dinner. But, the dishes is no longer fish ball and steam fish. Sometimes, she prefers fried fish. Most of the time she will orders vege and rice or mee and hot dogs. However, yesterday she suddenly make the order of prawns and mee. Then, she asked for chicken, prawns and rice for today’s lunch.

Huh? Seems like she wants variety now. Good! You are welcome to make any orders you like, my lady! Hahaha……

And, mummy is so proud that she always knows her limit in terms of food intake. She will just stop when she feels enough, even there is still a lot of her favorite potato chips left. Frankly, even mummy can’t have such fantastic control. Mummy can only make it with the help of appetite suppressant. LOL! So lousy! Hahahaha……

My Home Adventure

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 22, 2009

Look at this girl. She loves garden, if mummy has no time to bring her to the big playground. She enjoys picking dry sticks and fruits which dropped down from the tree. She will also looks for ants, snails and butterflies. But, most of the time she will hocked up with dozens of mosquitoes and got bit. Poor girl! :(

Well, she likes to run, dance and exercise in the compound of the house too. 😛

Ladies and gentlemen, Hip Hop!

Yeah… Very adventurous! Daddy keep mentioning on more outings for this little cheeky.Mummy suggest the zoo or aquarium, best if it’s Singapore’s zoo. Daddy might want to bring her to the dinosaur exhibition in Mid Valley as dinosaur is her favorite now.

Well, may be this little girl likes something closer to the nature or a real adventure such as rv camping.

My “New” Bicycle

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 21, 2009

“Mummy, bicycle! “Koko” rides bicycle!” That’s what always came out from her mouth when she was in playing the playground.

May be it’s time for her to starts learning how to cycle. It’s good that if she can learn with her old small tricycle first. “Nope! That’s not something like “Koko”.”

So? Buy new one? Taa… Daa…

See! I can stand on high up on the bicycle pedals. That’s cool! 😉

Now this is something like “Koko”. But how come you are not cycling? But showing off by standing on the pedals instead. Naughty Elizabeth! :(

The answer is:”I don’t know how to do it. But, you can push me around if you want to.”

Looks like cycling is not her cup of tea. Not even 10 minutes on the bicycle. Well, just put it aside. Who knows that she might be starts cycling when she wake up from one fine morning.

After all, Mummy is sure that “Poh Poh” is not going to take it back. As “Justin koko” (her cousin) is not coming to “poh Poh” house freqeuntly anymore.

Obviously, it’s a gift from “Poh Poh”.So no matter what, thank you “Poh Poh”.

Simple Drawing books

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 20, 2009

We were at book fair yesterday after little Liz finished her Kinder Beat. Not much for her. Only one book.

And, these are the pictures in it. Simple. Thus, should be easy to learn. There are also soldiers, girls and cartoon figures in this book. But, Dinosaurs are her favorite.

Anyway, she can’t really draw anything out yet. No particular shape or figure. Just some lines, curves and circles. Never mind. Mummy can see that she is trying. And, She loves it. :)

Well, It’s time for mummy to encourage this little ones to imagine how she draws out the trees, raining scenes, waterfalls, and animals. Of course, mummy will continue to widely expose her to nature, or may be nice architectures, lively pictures and beautiful designs.  That would be fun right, darling? 😉

Who know that you might want to become an architect or fashion and pearls jewelry designer . If that’s the case, knowing how to draw is certainly very important. Hehe……

At this age, drawing is certainly good for toddler’s brain development, especially right brain development.

Enjoying myself in the boat

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 19, 2009

This is what happened when I swim with uncle Bill. He will pull my boat around in the water. Let me enjoy the blue sky and flying birds. Oh! The boat is just like a bed at that moment. So relaxing.

But, it’s been some time he never swim with me. Mummy will do it now. But today, it’s daddy’s turn. It’s kind of boring after lunch. But, I enjoyed swimming with daddy later in the evening. :)

Thanks to daddy keep making the stunt of jumping into the water. That’s funny! Hahahaha……

Anyway, there were times I was alone in this ladybug boat, while “kakak” will be watching at the pool side. I still enjoy myself. “Row Row Row a boat, gently down the stream…” Just keep on singing. And, Hello! please give me a net to do “fishing”. 😉

No! I Scold! And… Go there!

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 15, 2009

These few days, less play dough or toys. Just keep watching TV. Dinosaur …(Jurassic Park), Dragon (Eragon) or Hulk smash (The Incredible Hulk). LOL! Kind of violent, isn’t it? Luckily she still likes to sing together with Barney shows.

Somehow, always on TV is definitely not a good habit. Definitely! And, learning to scold others is even worse. However, just look at the way she scold others. It’s so cute!

In fact, she is just imitating the teacher’s behavior in one of the trial class. LOL!

Surgery Risk before 4

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 14, 2009

The surgery to correct her triggered thumb was fixed at 28th. Mummy and daddy had decided last Friday as what was suggested by the doctor. A once and for all treatment. Then, there was a news regarding “Multiple surgery risk in the young” publishing in The Star newspaper last Sunday.

It said that: “Studies on animals have shown that anesthetics can alter neurological development.  Thus, study was made for children too. And the study found an association, not an absolute cause and effect relationship, between anesthesia and learning abilities.”

“The likelihood of having a learning disability increased as the number of surgeries involving anesthesia increased, although no added risk was found for those who had been given anesthesia just once before turning 4. Those exposed to anesthesia three or more times were about 2 1/2 times as likely to have a learning disability as those who never and anesthesia as a young child.”

So, daddy and mummy changed their mind. No more surgery. Just carry on the massage. And, so far little Elizabeth has become quite cooperative as mummy warn her that she will have to let the doctor cut her thumb, if she refused to let mummy massage her thumb. 😉

My 28th Months Birthday

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 5, 2009

This is my birthday cake. I like it so much! mummy said It’s my 28th months birthday. Huh? 😯 (Whatever! As long as there is birthday cake and birthday song.)

Well… Thanks to “kakak”. I blow the candle on this cake and sing the birthday song almost everyday. Everyday is my birthday, Hooray! 😛

And, singing is my life now. I sing every minute. I  even change and made my own lyrics for the rhythms that I have learned. It’s so fun to sing. As I sing, I like to move my body with the beat too. Cool! Let’s dance! 😉

I hate school. But, mum keep sending me to trial class. Hey! Can it be beach or pet shop? Let’s “kai kai”. No school. No! But, I want to go “kai kai”. Anyone please? Hehe……

I sing… I dance… and now I speak in sentences. Thus, I can even tell stories. But, only very short one. Something within 10 words? Hehe……Well, mummy said I really can act. Yeah… I can show you how baby cries, how people blows their nose, what did the announcer says, some hip hop dances, how teacher scold the students, and fantastic decious look. And, I have 100s of different posts stand by for mummy to take pictures. :)

By the way, good news! Mummy let me eat prawns now. Fried prawn is yummy. But, I prefer vege and rice. It’s so good! *Slurp*

Er… also milk, potato chips, chocolates and some fruits. Apple, pink guava and banana is my favorite. I like grapes and oranges too. But, mummy said they can make me cough. Ok. So, no ice cream, no grapes and no orange juice? :(

Of course not. I decided to take these food once in a while. :)

Yes! I will make decision. No one can force me to do anything. Anything that I don’t like, I say “No!”, when I was force to do or stop doing something, I cry! Cool! Hahahaha……

So… I decide when and where to”pooh” and “wee wee” too.

“Not in the potty?”  That’s right!

“In your pants?” That’s a fantastic idea!

“Oh My God!”

Cool! That’s what I always says. Sometimes, I will replaced it with “Oh, Shit!” It is always better as it is simplier. Hahahahahaha……

I can stick

Posted by Everyday Healy on April 1, 2009

Mummy was looking for some of the Montessori tools which I saw in many of the Kindergarten or Nursery for little Elizabeth in the book fair too. But, I can’t find any. Good too. As come to think of it, that’s not the point. It’s better to send her to school to learn ways of interaction too.

By the way, this is what she did in the trial class running by one of the nursery.

Good job, isn’t it? 😛

Thanks to the teacher who patiently taught her and made this possible. Thereafter, she learned to put glue on small pieces of paper, then stick them on another big sheet with her own 2 hands. And, that’s the way she learn to recognize words now. Mummy will cut out the words from newspaper and she will stick them and pronounce them together with mummy.

Unfortunately, she still don’t know how to take out her shoes. :(

Well, later today she is also going for EEC English trail class. Well, too many schools and franchises. Thus, very competitive. Obviously, hard to make a choice too. LOL!
