Shower, rain drops, fountain and pool

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 30, 2008

Elizabeth enjoyed bathing together with mummy nowadays. I think it’s easier for mummy too. As mummy doesn’t have to change my shirt as usual when get wet. Also, Elizabeth feel fun. Now she is dancing with mummy in the bathroom again.

Mummy likes to sing for Elizabeth while we were in the bathroom. Mummy loves to see her dancing and laughing. Mummy also enjoyed seeing her walked into the shower. Elizabeth is so brave! As she saw mummy bath under the shower, she was curious. So, she just went under it like mummy.

“But, don’t open your eyes and look up, girl!”

I think Elizabeth is curious to see the water pour down from the shower head, just like raining. Thus, she will always raise her head high up with her eyes widely opened. That certainly hurts her eyes! :(

Elizabeth really likes water. She likes to swim in the pool, play with the water in the pale, rain drops, and her pee too!

Now she is even curious with the outdoor fountains as she sees them. Mummy likes fountains too. They are beautiful, luxury and soothing! In mummy’s opinion, custom build wall fountains are unique interior decoration.

And, fountains are especially helpful when the weather is hot! Even a small table top fountain can make a difference and help to cool down the surroundings.

This is special, attractive and cute! I am sure Elizabeth will likes it. ๐Ÿ˜›

Over exercise

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 29, 2008

Mummy really think Elizabeth has enough exercise as she is walking, jumping, dancing all day long, unless she fell asleep. And, she even likes to raise her leg high, when mummy tell her: “Legs up…”. That’s a good exercise too, right? hehehe

Look at her big thigh. Big, aye? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Is this the consequences of over exercise?

I think it’s our gene. Mummy is not fat but used to have big fat thigh too. And, her “kuku” thighs seems big too. LOL! In this case, how to escape? hahahaha……

Wear shoes

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 28, 2008

Yesterday, Elizabeth asked mummy to bring her to the garden. But, mummy is quite reluctant as that was around 4pm. The sun is still shining. So hot! But, Elizabeth insisted.

So, mummy quickly think of an idea. Mummy thought I can trick her by asking her to wear shoes first, as my little girl still don’t know how to wear shoes with her own 2 hands. However, she understand what I mean perfectly. Once she saw I am not helping her, she starts trying on her own.

Oh, Poor baby! Mummy feels so sorry. Finally, mummy surrendered. But, the maid is the one who accompanied her under the hot sun! hahaha…….

Obviously, soon Elizabeth will know how to wear shoes. That’s a good news. If she ultimately learn how to wear thigh high boots, that’s even a bigger news, isn’t it? hahaha……

The light twister is moving

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 28, 2008

A few months back in January, Elizabeth received an interesting toy. It’s the “Winnie the Pooh” light twister. But, she don’t really enjoy playing with it as she can’t make it twist at all. :(

Mummy, it’s moving… Is that means I finally learn how to handle it? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Yes! Little Lizzy made it! Now, she is strong. She managed to press the button harder. Thus, the lighting were twisting. It’s really satisfying to see our baby growing up and getting more capable! *Sob* *Sob* ๐Ÿ˜›

Mummy is so proud of you, Elizabeth! You are doing so well. :)

We both like chandelier

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 27, 2008

Mummy really thought of placing a beautiful chandelier in the middle of our house. As these few days mummy just can’t stop recalling back how Elizabeth responded when she first saw an eye catching chandelier at the lobby of The Impiana Hotel, KL.

She said: “Wow”. What she saw was a very big lighting. But, that’s not something truly stunning as there were not much crystals on this big chandelier. Mummy likes chandeliers so much as they are grand and glittering, especially those will lots of crystals.

This is a fantastic Crystal Chandelier. Each of the 9 lights will shine with the most impact through their transparent appeal frosted cut glass shades adorned with 100% STRASSยฎ Swarovskiยฎ crystals. I am sure if Elizabeth see it, she will stretch her eyes big and say, “Wow…Wow…Wow…”. ๐Ÿ˜†

It’s unique. It’s dainty. It’s shimmering! It’s not just a chandelier, but a piece of beautiful art! Oh! Mummy really likes it so much. May be it’s time for mummy to buy one to place it at home. As even little Lizzy knows how to appreciate it now. :)

“So what do you think about it, baby?” ๐Ÿ˜›

I hate chairs

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 27, 2008

Little Elizabeth likes to climb up the chairs now. She will climb up the chair which mummy placed in front of mummy’s computer once mummy is away. As she was curious about the computer.

Besides, she will climb up the mini chair which mummy placed it in front of the telephone table. As she wants to talk through the phone or made a call! ๐Ÿ˜›

She even enjoy running on the sofa in the TV room. That’s why she fell badly from this sofa twice. In this case, she will run run run till the end of the sofa and fell over straight away. It’s very dangerous as she might get her neck twisted or get a big bump on her head.

In fact, mummy should custom made a sofa that can fully take up all the space between the 2 walls. There should not be holes between the sofa and the wall. That would be safer and surely can prevents Elizabeth from falling from the sofa or bump at the wall.

On the other hand, mummy should stop buying any chair with knobs. Especially like those in the house now that have knobs on top of both sides. As Elizabeth playing with her uncle on the bed yesterday, She accidentally bang on the knob of the chair. Immediately, one of her eyes get scratched and was swollen. Today, that side of her eyes is still swollen. :(

Open the door

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 27, 2008

What will your kids do when you close the door? Will he or she made a request to open it again? My Elizabeth certainly will, especially when daddy or mummy shut the door and leave her outside the room. She will cry out loud and keep on bang the door, if we don’t open the door and let her in immediately.

“Please stay outside with the maid for a while, girl!Mummy wants to bathe…” ๐Ÿ˜†

As she learn to open the door on her own, she always flip the door in and out. That’s dangerous as she might hurt her fingers or tows accidentally. Now, she became smarter. She knows that she must push the dummy door lever to get the door open if the door was initially close up tight.

Somehow, she plays with the dummy door lever very often now, even when the door is widely open.

In this case, mummy should change some of the old dummy door levers at home to a new and better one. As their gold plated is coming out.

Mummy don’t want the “color” to stick on my girl’s hand as she rub on it. That might be toxic. So, I must make sure it will not eventually goes into her mouth. In this case, mummy is sure that I can trust Schlage.

Fell 3 times in a day

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 27, 2008

Yesterday, Elizabeth fell 3 times in a day. That was scary, isn’t it? Mummy was heart breaking. When mummy informed daddy after he came back from work, daddy responded:

” You, ar…” with a sexy tone. Hahaha…… ( I mean very low and sharp tone)

I think daddy was trying so hard to swallowed a few words back.

” You are terrible! Don’t you take good care of our girl? You just don’t, or else she won’t fell 3 times in a day!” I guess this should be what exactly in daddy’s mind. But, he was being so kind to swallow them all up, trying not to hurt mummy.ย  Thanks, dear! ๐Ÿ˜›

Mummy was guilty. But, mummy was really busy yesterday. Will you forgive mummy, darling?

Anyway, she first fell while mummy was sleeping. So, may be from now on, mummy have to wake up earlier. Then, Elizabeth next fell while she was playing with her uncle Bill. Is that means mummy just can’t trust uncle Bill anymore?

Finally, she fell again while mummy was out to the temple. In this case, I guess mummy should bring her along everywhere mummy goes. LOL!

All of all, falling is common among running toddlers. ๐Ÿ˜›

Insurance

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 26, 2008

Many has learn to invest in education plans for the their kids’ future education needs. Parents nowadays are intelligent. Thus, they will buy insurance for their kids’ medical expenses too.

In my opinion, most importantly we as parents should invest appropriate amount on our own life insurance. As we are still alive, we still have the ability to protect our kids. We can still find ways to help them collect their education or medical cost.

If we accidentally leave them, the large amount from our life insurance compensation will be their only dependent. Unless we have great sums of savings and other investments.

Also, there might be cases we or our kids actually meet auto accidents while we do not buy insurance on our own. In this case, we can ask the help of San Antonio Personal Injury Attorney. Just in case we or our kids need to depend on the compensation to live.

Famous Amos

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 26, 2008

Elizabeth likes to eat biscuits. However, mummy has no idea weather she loves cookies or not? As daddy brought back the big chocolate hamper from KL, Elizabeth just keep aiming at the Famous Amos home made cookies.

Cute and lovely! Such a perfect gift for kids! ๐Ÿ˜›

However, until today mummy did not open the cookies for her to try. Mummy suspects she is only interested with the small squarish packaging box. It’s full of teddies. And, Elizabeth always get very excited once she saw anything with teddy bears.

In fact, mummy is the one who is interested in the cookies. After all, it’s Famous Amos! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Be careful with candy

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 26, 2008

Mummy has mentioned about Elizabeth taking Ribena pastilles a few times here. However, mummy istrying my best to avoid it actually. As mummy find Ribena pastilles is like rubber when we chew it in our mouth. Mummy is afraid that indigestible.

May be mummy should check on her “Pooh Pooh” next time when she took Ribena pastilles. As we can clearly see anything which is indigestible appear in the baby’s “Pooh Pooh” as a whole.

On the other hand, mummy really don’t like the coating of sugar on each and every piece of the Ribena pastilles. That is quite unhealthy. In fact, research in the US has shown that eating too much of candy or anything which is sweet can cause our baby to be super active.

Crawl more

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 26, 2008

I have learn from my friend that baby who crawl on the floor a lot before he or she started to walk, learn to speak earlier. I think it’s true as my little princess just started to learn to speak a few single words, even though she is already 15 months old.

Elizabeth seldom crawl as we used to carry her, instead of letting her crawling on the floor. And, she started walking exactly when she reached 11 months old. That’s quite early, isn’t it? Once she was walking, she stop crawling completely.

So, better let your baby crawl more to make sure he or she can speak fluently in a faster manner. I wish Elizabeth can speak in sentences now. Is that means I have to tease her to crawl on the floor again more often from now?

Anyway, mummy should be patient as every toddler learn at their own pace. I just can’t expect my girl to pronounce Vacaciones Hoteles correctly, don’t I? After all, she is only 15 months old. :)

No more running on the Sofa

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 26, 2008

This morning, Elizabeth fell down from the sofa again. That time mummy is still dreaming. She was with the maid just like very morning. However, mummy quickly jump out of the bed and run to open the door once I heard a big, loud “bang”.

Mummy reached Elizabeth within seconds. Anyway, once I heard the “bang”, mummy certainly know it’s too late. Anyway, even though she cried out loud but there is no serious injury at all. Not even a blue black bump. That’s miracle!

Somehow, mummy is brainstorming the ways of preventing her to fall from the sofa again as this is the 2nd time she fell from it. But, there is no solution in my mind. I thought she will be afraid after the first fall, but how come she is not? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

In fact, Elizabeth still running happily on the sofa, instead of walking or sitting on it, after the first fall. That’s very dangerous! Thus, don’t expect children to learn their lessons. We parents have to be protective in many ways. I think all mummy can do is to make sure she has no chance to run on the sofa again.

“No more climbing up to the sofa, my girl!”

Travel with candy

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 25, 2008

Elizabeth actually cried a lot when we are on our way home from KL. As mummy forget that Elizabeth hates to be in the car after the sunset. She just don’t like to be in the car for long during the night. Thus, daddy should depart home in the afternoon. As long as we manage to reach home before the sunset, I think Elizabeth will still be cheerful. ๐Ÿ˜›

Anyway, we did stop our car at the highway to buy some Ribena pastilles and Raisin for my little princess to stop her from crying. It works. She stop crying, but start eating until she fell asleep. That’s nice, isn’t it? :)

I guess adults are crazy over bodybuilding supplements. But, kids always drooling for candy or lolly pops. So, remember to spare some of your kids favorite junk while traveling far. It might come in handy as kids always fancy over food. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pooh Pooh

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 25, 2008

Elizabeth normally “poop” 2 to 3 times a day. She has no constipation problem at all since she turned 1. Mummy is very happy with that. However, it’s kind of messy while traveling with toddler which “poop” 2 to 3 times a day, isn’t it? :(

Somehow, mummy already get used to it. As she will be wearing disposable diaper whenever she goes out. So, mummy just have to clean her backside with wet tissues and throw the diaper away. That’s not complicated at all. :)

Anyway, Elizabeth is already coming to 16 months old. However, she still don’t “pooh pooh” in the potty. Instead, mummy found out that she loves to poop in her “Mummy Poko” (diaper). So, mummy never force her to sit on the potty anymore. I believe one day she will learn how to do it like us.

Meanwhile, mummy want her to feel comfortable every time she “pooh pooh”. As long as she is not constipated. Anything is fine! :)

Let’s Party

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 25, 2008

Elizabeth was so excited and was jumping for joy, dancing and shouting happily when she get the chance to join the party at the end of the annual dinner. At first, she had to stay in the hotel room with the maid while mummy and daddy were attending this grand company dinner which kids are not allowed.

Then, daddy finally decided to bring her into the grand ballroom for an experience at the end of the dinner, which only left party session. Once my little princess was there, no one was allowed to carry her. She preferred to run around, playing with the balloons on the floor, dancing and laughing.

There are so many balloons on the floor, mummy. Can you help me to pick up all of them? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
Elizabeth really likes Balloon. Mummy promises to includes fanciful balloon decorations for her 2nd birthday and even her future wedding too. I guess when mummy’s girl is getting married, then there will not only balloon decorations. Mummy prefers personalized wedding favors. I want most of the things to be personalized as I want my little princess to have an unforgettable wedding party since it is an once in a lifetime affair. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyway, mummy is so happy to see my girl knows how to enjoy partying now. The loud music can only cheers her up but can never scares her. That’s amazing! Bravo! Mummy and daddy is kind of proud and surprise! ๐Ÿ˜›

More Bojari Rice Please

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 25, 2008

Elizabeth is the adventurous type in terms of food tasting. She is very much willing to try most of the food that mummy, daddy or anyone in the family offers her. However, it’s easy to know which is her favorite.

She will always ask for more if that’s something she like. And if she walks away or don’t even bothered to ask for a second feed, that’s shows it is not her cup of tea.

All the time mummy thought Elizabeth likes plain rice. There is no doubt she likes rice. However, mummy just found out that she even favors more on the “Bojari Rice“. This is rice cooked with all kinds of spices.

Once I realized she loves it, I specially ordered only “Bojari Rice” for her. And, mummy was shock but happy to see her finished 3/4 of it. I guess from now on, mummy is keen on trying to cook this type of “scented” rice for my little princess.

As mummy believed rice that is full of spices are always more nutritious compared with plain white rice. ๐Ÿ˜›

That’s close

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 25, 2008

Mummy now prefer to bring little Elizabeth out as mummy feels that’s when I have less problems from Elizabeth. Elizabeth can easily cause “accidents” while she is in the house. May be toddlers are naughtier at all their familiar places.

I really wish to prove myself wrong. However, it’s very true. Elizabeth has break a bottle of mummy’s sparkling juice this morning. Mummy were so upset. Not because of the sparkling juice of course.

Mummy is so nervous as I am afraid little Elizabeth might get hurt by the pieces of breaking glasses. Luckily, she is safe. But, poor “kakak” have to clean and mop the floor which was covered with this sweet sparkling juice.

This accident happened as Elizabeth pulled this big glass bottle (which is full of yummy sparkling juice) out from the wine rack which is exactly at the corner of our build-in kitchen cabinet. Elizabeth just pulled, the whole thing drop on the floor and break immediately.

That’s close, isn’t it? God bless us as Lizzy was safe. On the other hand, mummy has learned a lesson. Since there is toddler in the house, there should be no more glass items at places where Elizabeth can reach. :)

When is the next trip

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 24, 2008

Elizabeth certainly knows how to appreciate traveling now. After this first experiment, I am sure that Elizabeth likes to travel. In fact, she enjoyed traveling so much, just like daddy and mummy. :)

She was jumping for joy each time she bumped into new things along the whole trip. For example, she even clapped her hands when she was enjoying the “non local food”.

Thus, mummy will bring her along to All Inclusive Mexico Vacations once daddy has the time. As mummy has confidence Elizabeth will enjoy the white sand beaches even more than the malls, just like daddy and mummy.

I think mummy prefers the Azul Beach Hotel Resort as it has many family-friendly amenities, including some extras like strollers, cribs, baby milk heaters, beach games, coloring books, refrigerators for milk and medicines, and even kid-sized bathrobes. Mummy believes that’s the place where my little Elizabeth will be treated like a real princess. ๐Ÿ˜›

I don’t want to swim

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 24, 2008

Time flies. We are back from KL. And, mummy really have no regret to bring along my little princess. She was a very good girl for the past 2 days while she was in KL. Mummy is so proud of her. ๐Ÿ˜›

However, mummy just take a few shots. As mummy was too busy spending time carrying my baby all around. In fact, she became so clingy while we were in KL. She wanted mummy to carry her most of the time instead of daddy or kakak.

But, mummy loves to do that too. I am glad she was so happy throughout the journey, except the time daddy take her down to the hotel’s swimming pool.

What happened to Elizabeth? Only God knows! But, why daddy is fraunning too? Like daughter like father! hahaha…….

Anyone has any idea why does this happened? Not familiar with the pool? Too many strangers in it? She loves going into the pool so much when she was at home. Mummy and daddy was a bit disappointed to see her grumpy face at that moment as we expect she will love it. Thus, we even bring along the floats. :(

Can I sleep

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 21, 2008

Mummy actually buy banana, plums and apples to spare in the car for tomorrow’s journey to KL. She even thought of buying grapes for me later. My clothes was packed. Mummy is going to pack all the biscuits or breads, my DVDs and toys later.

This is the first time Elizabeth going to stay in hotel. Branson hotels? Nope. We are staying in Impiana this time. This one night stay is provided by hubby’s company. So, we just grab it. :)

However, will Elizabeth refuses to sleep while she was in the hotel? I heard baby can hardly sleep and will cry for hours if they suddenly forced to sleep in a new place. Elizabeth never stay overnight in any other places before since she was born, except her own house. So, mummy is so worrie. God bless us… Hopefully, everything will turn out find.

In fact, Hotel should be much more comfortable. And, Elizabeth should enjoy the place which is fully air-conditioning. Mummy did spared our swim suits too.

As mummy has the idea that Lizzy will feels very tired and that’s easier for her to fall into sleep after enjoying a great swim in the big beautiful pool. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What do you think?

I want the bear

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 21, 2008

Mummy thought after we came back from KL, mummy will print out some of Elizabeth’s nice and cute photos. And, it’s shameful to tell that mummy had never print out any of Elizabeth photos since she was born. There were thousands of photos, but all just kept in the CDs. Terrible, aye? hehe……

Mummy promises I will print out some of them to display in the album this time. In fact, mummy misses all Lizzy’s baby looks. So, mummy wants to own this photo album as mummy can enjoy flipping it every night before I sleep.

Mummy planed to place the printed out photos in a cute and sweet album, which in purple cheques and a pink bear in the middle.

But, look what has little Lizzy done?

I think she likes the bear so much. So, she decided to tear it out. How dare you?

Tiger, monkey, dog and horse

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 20, 2008

Elizabeth like animals. And, she has learned to search for tigers everywhere on the road. That’s strange, isn’t it? Thanks to the banner of Tiger Beers. There are everywhere along the road, especially for places like Penang which is full of hawker centers.

Tiger Beer actually places its banner at almost every hawker stalls that are selling its beer. And, Elizabeth has finally realized it on one fine day. ๐Ÿ˜†

Elizabeth likes giraffes, dogs and monkeys too. That’s why mummy suggested to bring her to the Zoo Negara in KL. But, she will certainly look for horses while she is at the beach. She even wants to go near the horse as she saw people riding it.

In fact, mummy is willing to let her learn horse riding when she is big enough. May be 8 to 9 more years later? Or may be mummy can start the course first as there is a “school” for horse riding lesson near by our house now. Mummy like horse riding as ladies look so cool when they are riding on a horse. Female rider looks unique, smart and stylish while they put on the equestrian clothing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Granny No No No…

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 20, 2008

Granny just cut my hair few days ago.

“Oh, Granny! Are you sure you can do it?”

I guess Elizabeth must be so scared when granny trying to cut her hair. She seems know that scissors can cut. So, She stood quietly like freezing while granny placed the scissors by her hair.

Then, she signaled her granny “No No No” as usual using her little fingers after granny take the scissors off her head. I think she is trying to tell her granny not to cut her hair. hahahaha……. (That’s what granny told mummy)

Clever, aye? Mummy just don’t have to worry that she might struggle and get herself injured next time when mummy send her to the barber. However, mummy actually don’t agree on cutting her hair now as they are still very short. Daddy has the same opinion too.

So, granny cut Elizabeth’s hair without informing mummy. That’s naughty! Granny insisted little Elizabeth’s hair will look thicker by just cutting the hair a little bit shorter and make it like the bob style. So, What is the outcome? Is that true?

“Overall, if we cut the baby’s hair a little bit shorter or at least make the hair end at the same length, it will automatically look thicker.” True or Myth? True.

I have to admit that now her hair looks very neat. But, I just can’t shape it into so many styles like before, just like the one below. ๐Ÿ˜†

Oh! Suddenly my head feels cool. hahaha……

I just pretend

Posted by Everyday Healy on March 19, 2008

Elizabeth is good at pretending these days. And, she loves to play pretend. On the other hand, mummy enjoys seeing her playing pretend. That’s cute! ๐Ÿ˜›

She knows how to pretend drinking water with an empty cup long ago. I think she first did it when she was only 8 months old.

At that time, I can’t even hold the cup properly.

And I still look like a boy, don’t I? Ha! I just pretend to be a boy. You got trick! ๐Ÿ˜›

Now, Elizabeth still pretends that she is drinking water whenever we give her an empty cup. But, she also chew like there is food in her mouth even though mummy feed her with empty spoon. As she grows bigger, her skills improve. Sometimes, it seems so real until mummy thought she must have picked up any rubbish on the floor and put it in her mouth. hahahaha…….

It’s just like silicon and saline breast implants, they are so real. I guess we can hardly make sure it’s fake unless she herself choose to tell us the truth. ๐Ÿ˜›

You really can act, don’t you? Please stop teasing mummy, Elizabeth. Mummy surrendered! ๐Ÿ˜›
