Wooden Cake

Posted by Everyday Healy

Baby Elizabeth doesn’t like to eat cake. She is a typical bread fans like daddy. Somehow, she like to cut the cakes. Obviously, it’s going to be a real mess if mummy let her cut the real cake.

So, daddy buy her a “wooden cake” which came with a wooden knife. As usual, mummy choose. Daddy pay! :P

Nice cake, right? But, it’s quite hard to cut out piece by piece. As we cut it, it will tends to stick back together. Hahaha…… Mechanism problem!

Anyway, mummy always buy this type of wooden toys because of it’s safety quality, especially for the coloring. Wood also seems more solid and lasting. And, this cake is good to train her hands on skill.

Oh! Besides hands on skill, she need to be trained on table manner too. Mummy just don’t feel right to let her sit on the floor or just keep walking while she is having her lunch or dinner at home.

In fact, she likes one of the colorful wooden kid’s table with 3 chairs in a set which she saw in the shop that mummy get this wooden cake for her. Somehow, mummy is considering the Stokke Tripp Trapp. Will it be a better choice?

Bird Park

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy supposed to bring baby Elizabeth to the bookshop again today. That’s her initial education plan — learn at the bookshop once a week. However, mummy is not sure weather I can make it today. Never mind. We can still go on Saturday and Sunday.

Last Sunday, we were at the Bird Park. Little Lizzy did enjoyed herself.

See… she really likes water, didn’t she? Thanks to”Kakak”. She nearly fell into the pond. That was close! And, daddy is lucky because he gets something like this while mummy was taking picture for them at the Bird Park. At least, She grin. :)

But, this is what happened when Liz is taking photo with mummy.

Smile please, my dear…

Anyway, mummy believes this is another good way to educate little Lizzy. At least she saw the real owl, not just the picture in the book. But, it’s rather obvious that butterflies are still her best friends. She is more excited at the Butterfly Farm.

May be we should blame the Sea Eagle. Lizzy is scared of its “voice”. “Shoo… Shoo…” Go away you scary sea eagle! Hahahaha……

Practise makes Perfect

Posted by Everyday Healy

It a perfect scene which daddy caught it while she was eating her Bojari Rice at Mdm Kuan Restaurant. It’s a great memory for the previous KL trip. Daddy said he had to record this down. He is proud of his girl. Mummy is proud of you too, baby. You have finished about 3/4 of this bowl of rice all by your own. Good girl! :P

Practice makes perfect. It’s fine to let Elizabeth feed herself now. She can handle the spoon quite well. She also stop throwing her bottle away after she finished her milk or Ribena. However, it’s best to keep the bowl height lower. Just like what happen in the second video. If we hold the bowl under her chin, then there will be no spill over.

Baby chair is good. But, she will never like it. So, we can either hold the bowl for her. Or stack 2 to 3 chairs together and let her sit on it. At home, mummy should use slipcovers. It’s easier to take out and put it back whenever mummy need to wash the cushion cover. She always mess up the sofa. It’s either her milk, her Ribena, her food or her “wee wee”. LOL!

Let’s wash car

Posted by Everyday Healy

It’s raining season again. For the past few days, raindrops just keep pouring down from the sky. That’s a great news for Liz. She loves to play with water! Swimming, playing with rain and pipe water, they are all her favorite.

Just like this…

“Oh! I want to help daddy to wash his car, mummy. ”

“No thanks!”

“Oh, Please Dad! Let’s do it!”

First, let me get some water for daddy!

Oh! I really get wet this time. Hahaha… This is really fun!  :P

Oh! Bubble!

No no no. That’s soup. I want to wash my hand.

Oh! Where is the soup, dad? No more?

Ya. No more soap. Let’s follow mummy into the bathroom and clean yourself up. No? Alright. Then, we just do it here. Frankly, mummy don’t like to bathe little Elizabeth in the open space. It’s too cold. But, mummy always got no choice when she refused to get into the house at that moment. :(

Schooling at Bookshop 2

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy decided to bring Elizabeth to the bookshop every week started from 2 weeks ago. And, mummy is glad that this plan had been carried on well. Mummy and baby Elizabeth went to popular again last Friday. During this 3rd week, may be we should visit MPH. Just for a change.

Anyway, Elizabeth got these last week. She has been pointing to these 2 books for some time since she got the “Numbers” in its set. There are all 4 of them. And, I think this vain girl just don’t want to miss “My body and What I Wear”. And, give her any book with animal pictures, she just love it. So, how can mummy miss out the “Animals”?

There are still many children’s book that are good for Elizabeth. But, mummy can slowly get one by one for her. Besides, mummy had bought 2 Mandarin books for myself. It’s all about how to educate little Elizabeth. Hehe……

Oh! Get ready all my mummy friends here. I will surely share some of the good tips here once I read through it. :P

Baby Guess

Posted by Everyday Healy

Last night, nothing interesting for little Elizabeth. In fact, she might have a boring day as mummy was out to change the new pants that daddy just bought for her. So, mummy was in Queensbay Mall the whole day without taking Elizabeth out. Sorry, dear!

Elizabeth has great mummy with a great big smile when I am back. Oh! mummy loves you, baby. And, she was so glad to see her new pants. Just keep holding it for a while. As usual, she is vain! Finally, I guess this new pants has brighten her day up.

It fits her well. Not as clumsy as the one that mummy brought to change. It’s Guess! It’s soft Velvet. Adjustable waist width. Durable and lasting. This is the 2nd piece of her Baby Guess fashion. It’s sales carnival and mummy just can’t resist the 50% discount. So, thanks to daddy. Hahaha…… (In fact, it’s also because she is lack of pants.)

Anyway, her first Guess is a baby pink top. Very cute and lovely design. It’s a gift when we have vacation in KL. Looks like both can go in set too. Quite a perfect match! :P

Teething cause fever

Posted by Everyday Healy

As I read through the information, teething just can’t cause fever. However, my girl had fever during last weekends. As most Chinese experienced that teething can cause fever. I also believed that Elizabeth’s fever is caused by teething as it happened twice when Elizabeth was teething at a younger age. However, it does not happen all the time. I wish I know the exact cause. Can anyone tell me why?

Anyway, the fever could be caused by other reasons such as infection of the gum? I don’t know. Somehow, a friend had reviewed that having air purifier at home actually help to reduce her child’s frequency of suffering fever and flu. I thought this information might be helpful to many parents. Thus, I share it here.

However, this is just a personal experience. At least according to what I learned, breathing in clean air can avoid asthma , sinus and other allergy problems caused by polluted air. And one thing for certain, breathing in clean air certainly promotes better health.

Thus, I have air purifier at home. But, I like to have Austin Air air purifiers too, especially the Baby’s Breath Air purifier which created especially for baby room.

Small. Cute and the color is so sweet, right? :P

What is Shichida

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy feel like taking Elizabeth out to the bookshop today since Elizabeth is quite relief  from the teething pain and mummy feel like buying some new books to read. I want to look for the books about “Shichida Method”.

Have you heard about this “Shichida Method” which originated from Japan? It has set up learning centers in many parts of the world. There is one in KL and one in Singapore too.  However, there is non in Penang.

Basically, it is a system used for Children whole brain education. It aims to create a well-balanced child with enormous abilities, rich creativity and the ability to use a huge proportion of the brain.

I am interested to know more about it. But, there is no Shichida class in Penang. So, I can only learn from the inventor’s book. As I heard, he had published many books regarding this learning system. Thus, mummy just can’t wait to be in the bookshop now.

Tough girl

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth is going to eat rice now. Thank God that she still can enjoy her food well while suffering the teething pain. Tough girl! Mummy loves you! LOL!

It’s been days she cried every time she woke up from sleep. It’s not tantrum. She started to dig her mouth 2 days ago. We saw the slight bump. We can see that a tooth is on its way out. Poor girl! “Toothache” is one of the worst pain even for adults.

Luckily she is easily distracted. When she is playing or watching TV, she was still laughing and jumping for joy. Good girl! Mummy is so proud of you, darling! And, mummy promised I will always by your side. Just be clingy, It’s ok. :)

However, the TV that we used to watch has break down. My poor girl can only use the old one with smaller screen as the substitute. Such a wrong timing. And, it took weeks for the mechanic to find out the problem. Somehow, it is still not working. In this case, the repair fees could be high too. I really don’t mind buying another big screen TV, if there is good tv deals now.

Use Oral Gel

Posted by Everyday Healy

What would you do when your baby is suffering teething pain for days? Frankly, I have not much experience in this matter even though little Elizabeth already grown up to 19 months old.

Elizabeth is a tough girl. She don’t really cry when her other tooth came out previously. Obviously, this is mummy’s first time seeing her suffered with serious teething pain. Thus, I am quite helpless for the past few days.

Initially, I just gave her more water when I realized it’s teething like I used to do previously. Drinking more water really calm her down. Thanks to my MIL. She taught me that. But, it just doesn’t work this time.

I called the paed this morning. He mentioned about “Daktarin Oral Gel”. Ok. Ok. I will get one for her immediately. But wait a minute, this name is familiar. Do we already have it? Let’s check the fridge.

Yes! I got it! Immediately mummy apply it on Elizabeth painful part. Mummy is just being too forgetful. Her pead actually prescribe it for her long ago when she was teething. But, she never complain the pain. And, mummy never use it. Thus, I just forget about it. LOL!

My first Nike

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth has woke up happy, but daddy has woke up busy!

Never mind. We can go out later. In fact, mummy is sleepy now. Blame the weather. It’s hot and dry. Thus, we can easily felt dizzy and sleepy.

Anyway, as I thought of going out, it reminds me of something interesting. Mummy’s ram is always not high enough to include all incidents. How can I forget about such important occasion?

This is Elizabeth new shoes. This is the first time mummy buys sports shoes for her. Somehow, this is a pair of dainty sport shoes. Very soft from the front to the end. It also goes well with both pants and dress. Mummy and daddy like it so much! :P

Buying new shoes is nothing important. But, will you look closely at the shoes. And, focus on the front rubber part. So, it is one side white but one side yellow, right? Now, the story begins…

This little girl actually dropped one side of her shoes while we are checking in to First World Hotel as we first reached Genting Highland. At the time, we were so hungry. Still not taken our lunch at about 4 pm.

Somehow, we just keep looking for it. I thought you will point out to mummy immediately after each time your shoes drop. I guess little Elizabeth just lost track on her shoes as she saw so many people at the hotel lobby. :)

We find nothing even we have call up the lost and found department. Straight away, mummy and daddy start shopping with empty stomach. Looks like only Nike has comfortable and nice baby walking shoes. But, most of them only left 1 or 2 sizes. So, we have no choice but to buy this pair even though there is defect. LOL!

Luckily it’s not obvious as Elizabeth walking on the road, especially when both got stained with dirty marks. And, it’s even luckier to get 30% discount from the shop because of its defect. According to the sales rep, the side that being displayed has turned yellow because of placing under the sport light for a long period of time.

So, this is your first unique Nike, my dear!

Don’t Disturb

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth and daddy seems tired. They are both sleeping now. Elizabeth is still wearing beautiful dress as she fell asleep in the car.Mummy just can’t change for her. It’s better not to change. As Elizabeth will start crying if mummy interrupt her sleep while changing for her. This is a new habit. She has fiery temper now. Scary aye? :(

She also start cried out loud as the maid stop her from eating for a while when our lunch — “Loh Mee” is on the table. Baby, can’t you just give “kakak” some time to wear napkin for you, so that your dress won’t get dirty?

Oh, little Elizabeth just woke up! It seems that she had enough sleep, as she just great mummy a nice smile and starts “grumbling” too. hehe……

Her 19 months

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy always forget to blog about Elizabeth’s development whenever she entered a new month. Today, she has turned to 19 months old. Mummy is going to make a remark on her growth development and I hope I won’t forget to do this in the future anymore. :)

The most severe improvement is she can actually eat rice on her own now. Somehow, it’s still a bit messy. Obviously, she needs more hands on training. Her auntie suggested that mummy should get some beans and let her pour from one cup to another. I will try it soon.

She also communicates in words at a regular basis now. She can learn up things very fast now. Thus, when mummy asked her where is the flower, she will find and point to it. She knows a lot of things. But, she can only speak out one or two such as ball, dog and duck. Anyway, it’s great to see her answering yes and no or asking where. :P

But, one bad news. She actually started to show her tantrum, especially since she came back from KL about a week ago. Very bad temper. She will roll on the floor and keep shouting. If we try to carry her, she might bites if she is terribly mad at that time. Mummy has to do something about it.

Anyway, she is about 10.6kg when we last weighed her in the hospital about 2 weeks ago. However, I think her weight loss is rather obvious after we came back from KL. But, her height is certainly shooting. She is around 75cm now.

More Marry go Round

Posted by Everyday Healy

Look at little Elizabeth! She can fully enjoy the kiddie rides on her own now. There is sign which she did imagine she is moving around with the kiddie ride as she waved “Good Bye”.

She knows exactly that once the music stop, it means the kiddie ride has stop functioning. In fact, she did pushed the buttons on the kiddie rides trying to activate the kiddie ride again as it stopped. Mummy’s little girl really had grown up a lot! :P

In KL, she really behave so well as she will leave the kiddie rides once she tried once. However, She was riding on the marry go ground for more than 10 times within the 2 days when we were at Genting Highland.

In fact, she did ask for more. Basically, she just refused to come down every time the marry go round stop. I guess may be Elizabeth just love horses so much. Thus, she really enjoyed horse riding. :P

Hey, Mummy! See… I can ride so well. :P

Watch me, daddy! Riding without holding the stick is even more fun. I like it!

Nice Hotel

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy and baby Elizabeth just came back form the temple. Baby Elizabeth just can’t stop crying every time she woke up from her nap for this whole afternoon. She was not just crying, but also shouting and struggling. Mummy was worried as this has not happen before. I feels so sorry and helpless to see her crying. :(

So, it’s best to bring her to the temple for blessing. Mummy is definitely not superstitious type. But, I sincerely believe in God or the so called Universe Power. Hopefully she will have sweet dreams tonight.

Anyway, little Elizabeth really enjoyed herself while we were in KL and Genting Highlands. She has grown up to the extend that she already knows how to appreciate nice hotel’s lobby and room. She seems so happy to feel the softness of the hotel’s bed. Thus, I guess soon she will even knows how to appreciate the Danze faucets. :P

Oh, This bed is so much softer than mine. So comfortable! :P

Basically, she loves the First World Hotel lobby. It’s so spacious. She can run about happily. And, the created big trees with star like lightings plus the man made monkeys, birds, leopards and snakes on it are her favorite.

Wow… Big trees, lots of animals and beautiful lights!

Home schooling

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy, daddy and Elizabeth came back form KL since Sunday morning about 4am. Why midnight? Because one of the car tyre punctured again. Believe it or not, Daddy is the “punctured” king who keep facing this problem no matter what car he is driving. :(

Anyway, it has all gone with wind. Let’s forget about it. Mummy will slowly tell you the story in KL especially regarding the first time Elizabeth being in Genting Highlands later. Today is 1st of July. Mummy had set a new beginning for little Elizabeth. :)

Once we were back from KL, mummy went to “Popular Bookstore” to grab some books yesterday. It’s all for Elizabeth.

Mummy has began reading, playing puzzles and coloring together with Elizabeth since Monday. In short, Elizabeth has start home schooling. Mummy will try to arrange more interesting learning activities and get more reading and activities materials to keep Elizabeth busy.

From now onwards, mummy will arrange all sorts of constant learning activities as little Elizabeth has reached the age for proper learning (another 3 days to turn 19 months old). Hope you enjoy it, my dear! :P

Cool Holiday

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth is going to Genting Highland in another few hours time. Daddy has a talk in Kuala Lumpur on this coming Friday. But, daddy decided to depart earlier so that he can bring Elizabeth to Genting Highland this time. Last trip, mummy and daddy just leave without baby Elizabeth. So cruel! Now, baby Elizabeth just won’t let them do it again! Hahaha…

Baby Elizabeth always can’t stand the heat. So, Genting Highland should be very comfortable for her. In fact, mummy is still considering. May be we should go to the magic show. Mummy had never seen a real white tiger either! hehe… But, will Elizabeth get a shock to see a real tiger on the stage?

Anyway, there are still many other things that kids will enjoy, even without the magic show. Mummy just can’t wait to see Elizabeth shouting and jumping for joy! :P

We will be in Genting for 2 days. Later, we will get down to KL instead of going home. Still has nothing particular in mind about what to do in KL. While daddy is busy with his work, may be mummy and Elizabeth can go… SHOPPING! Both mummy and baby loves shopping! hahaha…

Daddy also plan to visit Taiping Zoo for night safari as we are on our way home. So, let’s hope for the best that it’s not just a plan. In fact, mummy got another brilliant idea. I am thinking about the next trip. Elizabeth likes water. So, how about an Outer Banks holiday?

Mummy just can’t stop thinking about holiday. LOL! Of course, holiday is so fun!

So Sleepy

Posted by Everyday Healy

You really got to watch this when you grow up, Elizabeth! :P

Last Sunday evening, Mummy actually just changed for you and we are all prepared to go out for dinner. While waiting for “kakak” to get ready, you were watching Barney together with mummy. I know you did realized that you are going out, darling. So you keep stretching your eyes and try to open it wide and big as usual. It’s ok, honey! Mummy will always bring you out even though you are asleep. So, just have a good nap on mummy’s shoulder. Mummy will call you up when you we are there for dinner.

In fact, Elizabeth has a good habit. She will never cry or become moody if we wake her up while she was still asleep.Fantastic, right? How about a loud applouse? Hahaha…

So many Butterflies

Posted by Everyday Healy

Oh! Finally, I saw so many real butterflies flying in the air, and standing on the flowers. They are beautiful! They seems dancing all the time instead of flying. Shall I catch them? Oh! No? Alright, then I’ll just dance with them! :PElizabeth really had a great time at the Butterfly farm last Saturday. Daddy suggested we should visit it again since our girl like these butterflies so much! hehe…

Anyway, Elizabeth enjoy walking around this small farm. It is really a good place for toddlers to hang around. My little princess just can’t stop hopping for joy too until she was so tired. But still, she refused to go home. Oh! Please, baby. Let’s go home. Mummy will treat you with fantastic massage therapy, ok?

Mumm feels great by getting a chance to educate little Elizabeth in such real and natural environment. She finally also saw the real turtle, squiral, scorpio, iguana, beetle, Japanese Koi, Mandarin duck and caterpillar too.

No more Baby Chair

Posted by Everyday Healy

Now, I no longer need baby chair. I have grown up. I want to sit on the same chair as mummy and daddy. I promise I will behave. :P

Oh! How nice if little Elizabeth can make such a promise! Hahaha…

Somehow, this little naughty actually will sit down quietly if we placed her on the normal chair. Daddy will always stack 2 chairs together to make it higher. It’s just nice for Elizabeth to reach the table.

Besides, there is a trick. At the same time we can give her an empty bowl with spoon or empty cup with straw. So that she can play with them. She enjoys playing pretend. She will act as she is drinking or eating. If this trick is not good enough, then we will put some plain rice in the bowl or plain water in the cup for her. This normally work so well.

If it doesn’t work, then just let her down. Hahaha… Luckily I have Fia to take care of her.
Frankly, having a maid is really the best solution to get peace of mind as we have baby. LOL!

Sometimes, Elizabeth is very polite. She likes to clean the table for us too!

My New Music Instruments

Posted by Everyday Healy

Can you imagine that this small yellow bag actually costs mummy RM 120 (About 40 USD)? I will show you what’s in it that makes it so expensive.

These are all the things inside this yellow bag. They are the tools for “Music Circle”. Elizabeth got it once she started attending her Music Circle last week. As you can see, there are CD, rhythm sticks, jingle and parent’s guide book. So, it seems that these simple wooden instruments are more expensive than the latest memory stick?

Don’t feel shock. Mummy is just kidding. The cost of RM120 actually includes 4 separate packets like this. Each consist of different simple instrument, parent’s guide book and a CD. This is just the first pack. Which means it’s about RM30 each. That’s reasonable. :P

Anyway, Elizabeth enjoyed the music and just keep dancing on her own way like what she did in the trial class. She can hardly sit down and learn. Surprisingly, she can remember some of the things that been taught in the trial class and start performing according to the syllabus during her first lesson.

Mummy is confidant that there will be improvement for the next lesson. :)

Go away Chicken Pox

Posted by Everyday Healy

These few days, uncle Bill is sick. His face is full of blisters. Mummy says:” That’s chicken pox!” Luckily Elizabeth is protected by the chicken pox vaccine. Anyway, doctor confirmed with mummy that after the vaccination, baby will only get very little blisters if infected by VZV.

Mummy feel relieved as mummy is going to bring my girl to KL for a vacation on the 27th. No sickness until that, please! Somehow, it is quite worrying that baby being vaccinated is at risk of developing shingles later in life. As VZV (the chicken pox virus) can remain inactive in nerve cells near the spinal cord and reactivate later as shingles.

It seems like this is an unavoidable once in a lifetime experience.

And, remember to get a booster shot for your kids at 4 to 6 years old for effective prevention after the first vacination during their 12 to 15 months old.

Dancing at Golden Sand

Posted by Everyday Healy

It’s Saturday again. Daddy and mummy will surely plan something and get out together with our little princess every weekends, be it Saturday, Sunday or both. hehe…

But, Elizabeth seems enjoyed this Friday night too. Last night, we were at Golden Sand Resort. At first, she were quite clingy and shy. So, mummy and daddy were quite disappointed. We thought may be this place is not her cup of tea. :(

Later, she did keep herself busy with the stairs.

Ultimately, She even dance along with the music in the middle of the crowd.

Oh, I love parties! More party invitations, please! :)

Lovely! So, that’s our girl! Active! Joyful! And, just can’t stop dancing! :P

I am going to School

Posted by Everyday Healy

Finally, mummy had decided to let her join “music circle”. It’s a toddler music course from “Musikgarten”.

Basically, the exposure of early childhood music will:

  1. Immerses the child in language
  2. Evokes movement
  3. Stimulates the brain
  4. Fosters physical co-ordination
  5. Develops self discipline, co-operation, concentration and listening skills

Frankly, mummy hopes that little Elizabeth can achieves great development in the areas that being mentioned in No. 5. More discipline, willing to follow instructions and co-operates well. That’s important. Best if she can learn it before she attend Kindy School.

Also, Mummy knows how much she loves music. So, let’s kick start your journey of being a future musician and dancer, my dear! Hahaha…

Wan Tan Mee, please

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth don’t really like ice cream. Mummy wondered why? I thought ice cream should be the kids favorite? Anyway, that’s fine. After all, ice cream is nothing nutritious. On the other hand, it’s fattening and the chemicals in it are actually harmful to our health.

Instead of ice cream, she ate lots of “Wan Tan Mee”. Even her 2 other cousins around her age loves “Wan Tan Mee” too. So, this is the real kids favorite, I guess! hahaha……

This is one of the most famous “Wan Tan Mee” in Penang. Yum! Yum! Elizabeth just won’t stop asking for it, not until she saw the plate was empty, whenever mummy and daddy brought her there.

Oh! This is even more fattening, my dear! Looks like somehow you are going to need Phentermine in the future. hahaha…

Build N Roll Xylophone

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth loves music and anything that can create sound. And, she is really creative. She will beat her own stomach if you ask her where is your drum. hahaha…

Anyway, she had destroyed her small Xylophone long ago. Now, mummy replaced the new Build N Roll Xylophone for her since few weeks ago.

This is the educational wooden toys that has quality craftsmanship and non-toxic color coating. It’s quite expensive, RM 100+. But, at least Elizabeth hardly get cut by the sharp ends from lousy workmanship. Also, she won’t accidentally ate the coloring with its safe coating. Mummy feels safe and at ease. :P

Elizabeth loves it so much initially. She was so excited to see the balls rolling down from each level. But, she started to get board after 2 weeks. LOL!

At least, mummy has seen her trying to put other things on the “rail” and experimenting weather they will move down or not. The answer is no. Only round balls will. She seems get it. She also learned to catch the balls which flowing half way down from the rail. :P

She loves to drop and roll the balls on the floor too. May be because by doing so there are sounds. Also, initially she can only hold on one ball. Now, she can play with 2 balls at a time. Besides, she even knock 2 balls together to create sound. However, the Xylophone does not appear attractive to her.

Anyway, she also learned that she is not supposed to simply throw the balls as they hit her head once or twice.  hahaha……

I am a Winner

Did you hear my maid shouting:” Cannot! Cannot! Cannot!”? But, she just keep climbing. Slowly but Steadily. Surprise! Surprise! Little Elizabeth managed to walk up such high stairs all on her own. Fantastic!Last Sunday, we were still at Eastern & Oriental Hotel for a while after our lunch. Why? Cause little Elizabeth wants to play! :P

She was running around the seaside corridor chasing after other kids while daddy and mummy were having our lunch. My maid were watching instead. Then, we all walk into the lobby again after we made a few shots outdoor.

We got to stop moving once this little princess spied the stair cases. Immediately, my little princess insisted to step on the red carpet as she supposed to. hahaha…

She really had so much fun! She even show it off, waving and laughing joyfully to her daddy who was sitting below, while she was high up. But, it’s truly well done! If you are in a toddlers stair cases climbing contest, then I think you certainly deserved a trophy or engraved plaques, my dear!

Too Bright

Posted by Everyday Healy

Last Sunday, we were enjoying our lunch at E & O Hotel. Mummy and daddy didn’t really enjoy the food there. Baby likes the potato chips though.

Elizabeth enjoys wide spacing and windy environment especially with water around, be it fountain, sea or pool. So, She did enjoyed herself at E & O. Running here and there non stop! Looks like beautiful and comfortable environment is also very important for toddlers.

Anyway, mummy and daddy had a great time too. At least, mummy managed to take photos together with my darling girl. So happy! :P

Baby, Smile please! :P

Still too bright, mummy! :(

Anybody switch off this terrible bright light please? hahaha…

Frankly, mummy and daddy seldom take pictures together with our little princess. Mummy is always busy snapping baby alone. And, daddy don’t even bother to touch the camera. Again, he said: ” That’s mummy’s job.” :(

Let’s play Pretend

Elizabeth really has grown up a lot. At this age, her imitation skills is fantastic! She can play pretend by moving her mouth signaling she is drinking water from an empty cup. She will also pretends to pick up food with fork and spoon from an empty plate and chew it in the mouth. Cute! :P

Sometimes, she will pick up the vacuum brush and pretends she is cleaning the room like what the maid always did.

She can even “read” the menu.

Oh! What order should I take? hehe…
She can even feed her daddy now!

Oh, dear! Daddy must be very happy. Soon, she might even learn how to spend. Good luck, daddy. Anyway, do you want to find out more about the 0 balance transfer in advance? Better get prepared! hahaha…

Not bad. All together 10 words. But, non of it was “mama” and “papa”.

I am 18 months Old

Posted by Everyday Healy

Now Little Elizabeth is 18 months and 1 day old in exact.

Yesterday, we celebrated. But, it’s doesn’t seems like a real celebration at all. Mummy bought a piece of chocolate banana cake for the “birthday girl”. Yeah… It’s cake. No lolly pop. Lolly pop is bad for teeth! That’s what I learn from Ghorn.

Anyway, Elizabeth don’t really enjoy eating that piece of chocolate banana cake. Oh! My dear, I though you like chocolate and banana? Don’t worry! Only mummy will need acne treatment after eating too much of chocolate. Not you, baby!

Actually, Elizabeth loves chocolate and banana. But, mummy forget that she doesn’t like cakes. hahaha…..

Never mind. We just forget about the cake. What’s next? Er… Since daddy is home earlier…

Ops… Make sure you can take it out later.

I told you! :P

At last, baby enjoyed herself so much in the pool with her be loved daddy! At least some fun! :)

Barley is good for health

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy did boiled some Barley drinks for Elizabeth when she get fever 2 days ago. For your information, Barley drinks is good in cooling down our body and help to relieve fever. It is also helpful to the kids who suddenly feel the pain when “wee wee”, let go too little or can’t “wee wee” due to heaty body system.

Basically, most of the paed will take this condition as uterus infection. Just try Barley drinks in conjunction with all the other medications from the paed. After all, there is no clash. :P

In fact, most of the elderly Chinese believed that we should give our baby Barley drinks once in a while to cool down their body system, especially for baby who is still drinking milk.

Lolly Pop or Cake

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth started eating candies since 15 months old. She started with Ribena Pastilles. Few weeks ago, she came across lolly pop in a buffet dinner. She loves it! Tomorrow is her 18 months old birthday. Should mummy buy her lolly pop then?

But, mummy is afraid that she might get addicted. Lolly pops or candies are like drugs to the kids. They can easily get addicted to it. Worst still, there is only drug rehab for real drugs or alcohol addiction. It ain’t easy for mummy to find the help if Elizabeth get addicted to “sweets”. hahaha……

May be a piece of cake? She don’t really like cakes. But, that’s when she was much younger. Her taste is changing slowly. May be she will loves it now. Since cake is perfect for birthday, let’s have some cakes, baby! :P

Cheap and Good

Posted by Everyday Healy

Yesterday, Elizabeth had slight fever. Luckily she is alright now. No medicine. Mummy just let her drink more water. And, keep monitoring her with the useful Liquid Crystal Forehead Reusable Thermometer.

I bought this to try after I break part of the old expensive infra red thermometer. In my opinion, this is so much better than the infra red digital thermometer. It is unbreakable and provides fast and accurate results too. It is also space saving in terms of storage and very cheap (About RM 8).

Regarding baby fever, medication is not necessary if it is not high fever ( > 39 degree). It is helpful if mummy keep swapping her body. But since it is only 37.5 degree, lazy mummy just ask baby Elizabeth to drink more water. LOL!

No more Biting your own Foot

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy is proud that Elizabeth can dance well. And, she is kind of creative, friendly, and funny. That’s lovely! However, human being just can’t be perfect. Elizabeth started exhibiting certain bad habits.

Nowadays, She scratches people on the face. She might slap people on the face too. Also, she will show her temper by shouting or crying, then rolling on the floor. Most surprisingly, sometimes she will bites her own hand and fingers or foot and toes out of a sudden, when she get mad. She will did the same thing when she is bored.

Frankly, this habit is a little bit insane for mummy. Why are you biting your own foot, baby? That’s disgusting! Mummy thought you are quite vain. Don’t you know that once people see you biting your own foot, you just won’t look great anymore even if you put on sexy costumes. :(

Mummy really got to think of a way to stop little Elizabeth from biting her fingers or toes!

Now I like it, later I don’t

Posted by Everyday Healy

I just feed Elizabeth pizza again around 9 pm. I thought I just mentioned that little Elizabeth started to like pizza now. However, She never says Mmm just now. She even spitted it out after the first 2 bites. How could this happened? Both the pizzas don’t really taste that different!

Mummy is curious. Could it be the difference of environment? Will baby changes their preference of food as environment changes? I mean may be Elizabeth loves that “PizzaRUs”. As she enjoyed the environment, she has better appetite and showed better appreciation on the food there.

Mummy assumed it’s possible as my baby showed different attitudes towards different places. Her mood changes as the environment changes. For example, she was so happy whenever she visited Rasa Sayang Resort. In opposition, she will show her grumpy face immediately after she entered the wet market. hahaha……

By the way, she really had an enjoyable time at “PizzaRUs”. I think that’s the real reason why she praised the pizza! :P

Delicious Pizza

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth loves pizza. She was eating plain rice and plain white bread most of time since young. She can never get bored of both these plain stuffs. However, she seems started to enjoyed pizza with rich taste now! She says, Mmm… :P

May be pizza is still bread. Thus, she loves it! Just as she likes donuts too. Anyway, this is something new. She used to reject things with rich taste when she was younger. I think soon she will loves cakes too.

Looks like it’s time for mummy to learn baking. At least mummy can prepare some home made cookies, breads, muffins, pizzas and cakes for little Elizabeth next time, especially for her to bring them to school.

Mummy can even open up a bakery once mummy is good at baking. Not a bad idea. Mummy should be serious in it. Mummy even create a name card specially for this business by using one of the online business card maker software to further convinced myself to treat this idea seriously. hahaha…

Just for fun actually. After all, its a free trial. But, It’s absolutely fun! I like this card maker as it even includes beautiful logo design. Fix choices were provided but with wide varieties. By just a few clicks, a nice, appropriate and complete name card will appear immediately on the screen. Amazing! It’s a total hustle free experience. :P

Coco Crunch Breakfast

Posted by Everyday Healy

What does your baby eat for breakfast? Usually, babies love cereals. Elizabeth stop taking powder form baby cereals long ago. She is taking coco crunch now. My little princess loves chocolate taste! :P

I bought her the tiny Milo chocolate cereal balls. And, my maid will add in some milk and feed this little baby half bowl of it in the morning as breakfast. Not every morning though. Sometimes, it’s biscuits or breads. :P

In fact, Elizabeth has started to feed herself. Sometimes, these tiny cereal balls just slipped off form the spoon. She missed them! But, she will keep scooping. Quite a persistent girl! :P

Roar… I got you all in my mouth now! hahaha……

No coco cereals this time? Never mind. I will take the milk first! :P

Slowly, as these are the last 2 left.

Looks like little Elizabeth also need a baby chair and baby table, daddy. So that she can have breakfast properly on the table.

The Wedding

Posted by Everyday Healy

After came back from Gurney Plaza, mummy quickly dressed her up getting her ready to attend a wedding dinner together with mummy and daddy once we reached home. Little Elizabeth was hunger for milk. She lied on her rocking chair while drinking the milk.

Immediately, she was asleep.

Wow… I don’t remember she had such beautiful pajamas?

My maid carried her at the back seat of the car. She was still sleeping in all the way to the hotel. Once we stepped down from the car, her big eyes start blinking. Great! She was awake again. :P

Oh! Such a nice place. I like it! Er… Where is this place actually?

That night, Elizabeth really enjoyed herself playing with balloons, clapped together with all the guests, running at the corridor, dancing on the red carpet, drinking fruit punch in the big wine glass and keep heating daddy and the maid when she don’t get what she wants. OMG! *Slap forehead*

Wow! I found my favorite! The stairs… I better be quick! Daddy is going to block me anytime. :P

I prefer gold. But, how am I going to take it out?

That’s what I get. Never mind. White is just nice to match my beautiful dress. :P

She was the one who pulled out all the balloons by the stairs holder. Should mummy be proud or ashame? Somehow, all the kids there have fun with the balloons she pulled out. She took the lead and everyone was happy. Mummy should be proud, right? hahaha…

Street Dance

Posted by Everyday Healy

Sunday afternoon, we were at Gurney Plaza. We took our lunch at the BBQ Chicken at Gurney Place. Gurney Place is always Elizabeth’s favorite. As there is a wide walkway for her to run about. :P

It seems this little chicky enjoyed sitting high up on daddy’s shoulder. :)

Wanna dance with me?

Ladies and gentlemen, my Monkey dance!

Now, I am pointing my toes. Dancing gracefully. No more monkey jumping around! hahaha……

As usual, Elizabeth is such a great dancer. She also never stop running around once mummy put her on the floor. Luckily there was Uncle Bill besides daddy and mummy. We all took turn to watch her.  “Kakak” was not with us that day.

In fact, daddy suggested we better cooked “Maggie Mee” and eat at home instead of eating out together with Elizabeth without the maid. Daddy is absolutely right! As little Elizabeth has very bad table manner. :(

She took the spoon and played with salad. She also took the straw in and out from daddy’s drink. Water spilled everywhere. Luckily it was plain water. Smart daddy! It was right to take mummy’s lemon tea away from this naughty little girl. STOP!

hahaha……

Let’s exercise together

Posted by Everyday Healy

I guess if we can start exercise since toddler, our figure will certainly looks fit and in good shape. Our body should be healthier too. So, let’s start exercise, little princess! :P

It looks like little Elizabeth is more on playing rather than exercising. hahaha…

We should trained our baby start exercise since young (may be around 18 months). May be they are not doing all the stretch properly. At least they stretch. And, we as parents can build their interest on sports if we get them involved since young.

Mummy really don’t want little Elizabeth to be like me. I am such an idiot in terms of sports. May be mummy might need legal steroids, if I want to build up my body now. LOL!

Mummy really have to set a good example from now. Luckily, there is still daddy. Elizabeth can actually watch basketball games and play balls with daddy. :P

Posted by Everyday Healy

Two days ago on the 21th, that was my first time eating popcorn. Mmm… Yum! Yum! :P

It seems there is a lot of popcorns in the bucket. More and more in my mouth, please! :P

Wait… My leg is a bit numb. Let’s stretch!

Ops… me and my big leg! Now, they are all on the cushion! :(

Never mind. I can pick up one by one and finished them all. :P

Like daddy like daughter. Both popcorn fans. In fact, daddy is the one who missed popcorn at first. End up everyone in the house is chewing the popcorn in their mouth, including Bill, granny, mummy and great granny. Ha! We are… Popcorn family! hehe…

I am driving

Posted by Everyday Healy

Little Elizabeth enjoy driving. She will “drives” daddy’s car for a while as daddy drive home from work. She will twist and turn the steering as she is an expert. She is driving. It’s just that the car is not moving. hahaha……

But, this time the car is moving. Fantastic! :P

Oh! Don’t let go the steering while driving! That’s very dangerous!

What are you doing, baby?Don’t look up while driving, Quickly look to the front! Waw… That’s close! :P

What wrong with the side? No side mirror? Oh! What a car!

Oh! I am so tired. Let’s change to auto drive mode now. Just like auto pilot. So relax!

By the way, you shouldn’t be driving, my girl. You have neither passport nor driving license. We just continue shopping, ok? :P

Big Sandal

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth actually try to do a lot of things on her own now. I guess this is the common development for an 18 months old. My little princess is going to turn 18 months in another 11 days time.

She is trying to find her own bottle of water when she was thirsty last night. Eventually, she climbed up the cabinet. She can even pull the clothes out of her hands. But, she just don’t know how to wear her own shoes. But, she put on mummy’s sandal instead!

One for you and one for me, mummy!

I better walk slowly, it’s quite loose. :D

I need skin care

Posted by Everyday Healy

Little Elizabeth really likes to play. And, she is always funny!

Sometimes, anything can be a toy to a toddler. Elizabeth likes to play with mummy’s skin care set. she actually applied some of mummy’s whitening body lotion on her face this morning.

Mummy was shock to see her doing that. I thought she still don’t know how to take off the cover. Somehow, she made me laugh! Her face was full of cream and she just don’t know how to spread and rub it. She just let it be instead. She is more like a clown at that time!

Anyway, luckily it’s not acne treatments. As It is good for pimple skin, but definitely too strong for baby skin. At least body lotion is mild. So, should mummy spare baby lotion specially for her to apply?

It’s better to make sure she can never reached all my skin care set anymore.

Simple and Nice

Posted by Everyday Healy

“Mother Care” is on Sale. These 3 shirts are all from “Mother Care”. Simple and Nice! Total costs RM 79.90. They are the pack of 3. Thus, all same design but different colors. Like them? Mummy likes the red one. Elizabeth always look brighter in red. :P

“Mother Care” attires always come in pack. Usually, there are 2 or 3 pieces per pack. In a pack, the shirts or pants will look alike in design. Only the color is different. Of course, there is also single piece. Somehow, single piece is always more expensive.

Frankly, I used to think “Mother Care” is quite expensive. In fact, it might not. As it is very lasting. And, the cutting is fantastic too! I especially like to buy it’s shirts and pants which in packs. The price is reasonable and the quality certainly proved that it worth more than its price. :P

Anyway, the dresses in “Mother Care” are still quite expensive to me. Thus, Elizabeth still don’t have any dress from “Mother Care” until now. LOL! *Stingy Mummy* :P

So nice

Posted by Everyday Healy

Last Thursday, mummy and granny were in Gurney Plaza for the whole afternoon. Finally, mummy walked into “Mother Care” again. Mummy was so satisfied after I walked out with some new clothes for Elizabeth.

There are selected items on sale. But, only one on sale among all those that mummy bought. Mummy got attracted by all the the new arrival. LOL! Anyway, this time mummy bought all shirts and pants. No more dresses.

Elizabeth need shirt’s and pants.

Anyway, she wore these 2 pieces on Saturday night when we were going to the airport to pick up daddy. She loves it as it got flowers on the shirt. She loves flowers. Anyway, she looks so gorgeous in it. Mummy loves it so much!

I will make sure I shoot 1 picture of her wearing them next time. So clean and nice! Surprisingly, Elizabeth looks better on pants and shirt. :P

First time on Trishaw

Posted by Everyday Healy

Yesterday night, we were at Batu Ferringgi. Mummy, daddy, granny, uncle Bill and Elizabeth’s grand auntie were all taking dinner at Rasa Sayang Hotel. It was a buffet dinner. We choose that place as little Elizabeth like that place so much.

Yesterday night really was her night. As that was the first time she tried a lolly pop. It’s the sour fizzy lolly. Surprisingly, she loves that Lolly. She took about half the lolly. She was laughing and dancing while eating the lolly. Cute! Very lovely!

Besides, it was also her first time riding on a trishaw. Somehow, this little chicky fell asleep as soon as half the journey. May be she was too tired at that time as it was quite late.

Never mind. I am sure there will be next time, baby. As mummy and daddy really enjoyed the rides. Hahaha……

Carry me

Posted by Everyday Healy

Elizabeth was sick since the last 2 nights. Mummy get so mad at her the night before last night. Daddy can’t stand her as well. She was crying non stop unless we carry her. We were so sleepy.

What’s wrong with you, baby? Why can’t you sleep on the bed? Please, baby!

End up, mummy got to pass her to the maid around 4pm. That’s daddy’s limit. He just can’t stay up anymore. Daddy was the one who was carrying her that night. Mummy were too tired as mummy can’t sleep at all at the previous night. Not because daddy was not around. It’s because of the itchiness of the allergic reaction.

Mummy felt so sorry the next morning. Baby Lizzy was not naughty. She was sick. She had fever. Sleepy mummy become so careless. How come I don’t even suspect anything?

Another NBA fans

Posted by Everyday Healy

Mummy’s girl is a very sporty girl. Thus, she loves cycling, swimming and especially likes to play with balls. Besides, she just can’t stop running here and there. :P

Basically, she can kick the ball with her own 2 feet now. And, she is certainly good at throwing the ball away. She even watches basketball games together with daddy. So sweet!

Surprisingly, she will shout out loud “throw”, as she gets excited with the games. At the same time, she will swing mostly her right hand out and bend down her body a bit. Looks like she is playing in the game too. She really is a great actress, isn’t she?

Basically, mummy feels so warm to see baby Elizabeth can share the same interest with her dad. In the future, may be Elizabeth will even buy the Miami Heat tickets for both daddy and herself! So that they can both enjoy the NBA live together.
